| Lassi (visited in 2002 Aug) -be aware of the Aris Apts (by Golden Sun). This accommodation is straight from 'holidays from hell', it's dark, damp, dirty and the walls are paper thin. The worst kind of rat hole we have ever seen. A breeze block as a step to the 'bathroom' ; good though if you like wildlife ie bugs came trooping in under 2cm gap under door. Lassi itself has good restaurants and lovely beaches with crystal clear water. Not much local feeling in the village as it is purpose built. However an 30min hike up the hill to Argostoli is worth while as it has more of a 'Kefalonian' atmosphere. Hire a car to drive around the island - amazing views and beaches all around. Myrtos Bay is like being in the carribbean! Great holiday destination except Aris Apts - stay elsewhere in Lassi & have a great time. | ||||||||||

| Disgusting......Dark to say at the very least, the window in the kitchen was not secure and would not close. The only other window was in the Bedroom - well it must have been 12.5 inches wide with barbed wire on the outside and overgrown weeds! The bathroom was very unsafe with exposed electrical cables and plenty of mould. The decor was very very bad and well used. The outside was also unpleasant. Towards the back their were plenty of weeds and to the front there was a pile of rusted metal chairs that have been dumped 50 metres from the apartment doors. The building was half built with Scaffolding on the top part of the apartment. Mini Market? No way it was an ablsolute shack, very very dirty it looked like a shanty built disaster. | These apartments are an absolute disgrace. The apartments are delapidated outside and not much better inside. They were damp when we arrived - mould on the table cloth and fidge. The bathroom was dirty, had broken tiles on the floor and had no plug in the sink. The cooking utensils were dirty and were stored in a wrotten cupboard. Because the rooms were so damp, my asthma was agravated by staying there. As we could hear the couple next door discussing the same problems as us through the wall, we knew we weren't the exception. We both found alternative accommodation in Svoronata (Katerina Studio's which is excellent). The only problem is that we had to pay for this ourselves as we got no help from the Golden Sun rep while we were there. Stear Well Clear | ||||||||||

| DIRTY AND DINGY STAYED TWENTY MINUITES ONLY IT WAS LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF HOLIDAY NIGHTMEARS. GLAD WE COULD MOVE TO LASSI HOTEL WE THEN HAD AGREAT HOLIDAY LASSI IS LOVELY. | ||||||||||

| Nice homemade cakes,friendly people and one of the cheapest places to drink in lassi.Argostolli just ten minute walk away. Gradakia beach with snack bar is a ten minute walk away. | ||||||||||
