| standard basic greek accomadation. beware of very hot water in sink/shower when water heater used. not very comfy beds in room 2 but patio area was nice with not bad views of sunset( telegraph pole needs pulling down). needs good upgrade at end of season, especially bathroom. maids 2-3 time a week but need to be more thorough( very pretty though). road noise is there but you get used to it. ideal location for beaches,tavernas & markets. main beach gets very busy so try antonio beach. 8 euro for 2 beds & 1 brolly. plenty of pools around with free beds/brolly. just use the bar they have. big island so try to get around on tour or hire a car, it is worth it. natural phenomena of swallow holes near argastolli not up to much. neglected and run down. supposed to be getting done up soon ?. beware of taverna prices in fiskarado. check menus before sitting down to order. eating in lassi very good. ionio. de veronica, sunset, phedera & mystic gusto are all very good. dancing and live music nearly every night at mystic but look out for plates flying from kitchen(oopaa). back at apts you cant avoid smell from drains sometimes but this is not a constant thing. room 2 needs grid in bathroom lowering so water from shower goes down it and not out under door and through front door. over all a good base to get out and about in a very central area of lassi. |
