Lassi Apartments

Accommodation in Lassi

Tracey B

Does anyone know which tour operator these apartments can be booked through or if they have their own web site?

James A          10/10

We have just got back (yesterday) from a weeks holiday here, self catering.
Fantastic accomodation.
The rooms were brand new fully refurbished, we were the first ones to stay here since the refurb.
The rooms had brand new bathroom suite, fridge, air con, etc etc.
Very good sized rooms, with a nice sun terrace and very clean and bright.
The apartments also have a clean good sized pool.
The staff were very frinedly and helpful. They gave us some good advice of spots that locals feel are the most beautiful places to visit.

Lassi in general was a great resort.
Great beaches, very friendly and extremely beautiful.
The main street has plenty of places to eat and drink (approx 15 places to eat and 10 tavernas), with a laid back relaxed atmosphere.
We also liked the fact it waasnt commercialised with british themed tavernas, it remains traditional.

We have visited most of the greek island now, and believe Kefalonia is the most beautiful.
Fantastic beaches and breath taking scenery.

I recommend you hire a car and visit Myrtos beach and Antisamos bay. Unbeliveable places to visit. The drive down to them has some of the best views in all the greek islands. Once you get down to the beaches, they are fantastic with more beautiful scenery.

All in all, a fantastic holiday, and we will be going back to the same apartments next year, for a fortnight!

We had a fantastic time here.  The apartments were extremely clean will all amenities, even a shower curtain and a hairdryer which you hardly ever see in Greece.  The pool was beautiful, not overcrowded and we were always able to get a sunbed. There is a 5 minute uphill walk into the resort but it is very central.   Would definitely go back there.

We stayed in the Aloni apartments within the Lassi apartments in 2001, via Thomson. We want to go back there next year (2006), but can no longer find these apartments listed in any travel brochures. Does anyone know which tour operator now has these apartments on their books?

We have just arrived back from 2 weeks here.  It was excellent.  The accommodation is basic - self catering would not really be the right words for the kitchen - a very small hob and a kettle - that's it.  However as we ate out all the time it really did not matter - just breakfast was different with no toaster!!
The pool is lovely - very quiet and we went in peak season - it is the only holiday we have been on that we have not had to get up early and put the towels on the sun loungers.  Easy to get a bed and parasol at any time of the day.
Facilities at the hotel were fine - a nice bar outside, but no entertainment, so if you prefer somewhere with more going on, this is not the place.  We loved it as it was so quiet. Quite a steep hill up the Lassi, lovely small secluded cove nearby too.

WE really enjoyed our stay in these relatively new appatments. we had a ground floor one right at the front, which ment we had a huge patio (big enough to hold a party for 40 people on) and a view of the sea across to Lixori. the appartment we had was quite spacious with a seperate kitchen and bathroom (with shower cyrain)and came with hair drier, satalite TV and a safe deposit box and air con (for an additional cost) We had one double (very unusual for greece)and one single bed. appartment was cleaned daily with new towles and sheets twice weekly, the maid even did our washing up for us bless her. the outside garden areas could do with landscaping as its just gravel with weeds at the moment. The lassi hotel nx door looks dated to say the least and the pool a little grubby, in fact we took a wide berth around the hotel, however the staff were very friedly and accomodating -nothing was too much trouble. if you stay here i suggest you do the same. go to long and wide beach not the little one sign posted from the appatments. use the pool bar at the preview appatments (100m along the fanari road) its sign posted by the dolphin supermarket.

We stayed in Sea View Village and were very lucky as we did actually have a sea view! The apartment was quite spacious and was located in a quiet area yet close to the beach and restaurants. Beach Antonio which was just by the hotel Meditteranae and was our favourite beach because it was great for snorkelling, luckily its the closest to the apartments anyway. You will need a torch for the evening as the roads between Lassi's main strip and the apartment are uneven and not lit. We had an amazing time and if you are staying at Sea View Village I'm sure you will too.

Is this the apartments also known as "Lefteris Village" - which is at the top of the hill overlooking the bay by Agastolli?

Booked quite late and these were the only apartments available - we have been to this resort before and have stayed in better locations but wasnt too disappointed. Very clean and nice bathroom with good supply of clean towels which were replaced along with the sheets twice weekly. We didnt really stay around the hotel or pool but the staff seemed friendly enough. The only down side was no private balcony but we only had to share with one other couple and it was a bit more private than some of the other apartments in the block. We went first two weeks in June and normally go a bit earlier - it was very hot even the locals agreed. Had a lovely two weeks and will go back but maybe not to the same apartments. If you want to hire a car we got a good deal with Etam and nice friendly staff. Favourite places to eat - Pheadra - Ionian and Nefellies.

Are these the Lassi apartments as run by Thompson? The name can be misleading as these apartments are split into 3 in the Thompson brochure. We stayed in the Sea-View apartments, only a handful of these apartments actually have a "sea-view" so try and make sure that you organise accomodation which do as the view is truly lovely. We did have some trouble with the bathroom, which wasn't resolved during our stay but generally the place was nice and clean. The location was good as it was close to the restaurants/bars but far enough away as to not hear any dodgy pub singers when you fancy an early night.

Staying in Lassi Apartements in early July. Is it safe regarding roads, etc? Are they close to beach and do we have to cross roads? Thanks

staying at the sophia appartments, first two weeks in august, heard some horror stories, can anyone tell me what they are like and is it a suitanle resort for children ? thanks

The apartments were brilliant, very clean and serviced on a daily basis. Our Balcony overlooked the bay across to Louxouri and the sunsets were fabulous. Pool was safe for all to use and the staff were very friendly.and not at all pushy in any way. Lassi is by far the best resort to stop at due to its central position, short transfer time and ease to which you can explore the rest of the island. It was as if you had a 2 centre resort due to its very close proximety to Argostoli which is about 15-20 minutes stroll. We all had a trully great holiday and is highly recommended, and we will definiately go back.

The apartment was great (including the bathroom which is a luxury in my experience of Greek apartments). The maid came daily, the location was great (at the end of Lassi closest to Argostoli so just a short walk over the hill). The apartment/hotel staff were friendly, the pool was good, in fact the only down side was the wafer thin walls between apartments (you can hear everything in the next apartment - snoring, whispering, bodily functions - you name it we heard it).

Lassi is a very good base for exploring Kefalonia. The Lassi appartments were very clean and did supply towels. Some of the appartments were quite small but we were lucky and had a very spacious one. There is a steep hill to climb for shops and bars, but you soon get used to it. All the bars we tried were good plenty of choice. We used the beach by the hotel meditarainian, a bit of a walk but worth it- safe for kids and close to amenaties. We would definately return to Lassi one day.

brilliant, best place that we have been to in greece, towels were changed every 2 days...Have to pay for air con at 5 euros per day. choice of 4 nice beaches.....eating out was a little more expensive than expected I think that the prices have been put up because of the conversion to euros....A typical meal for 8 people ranged from 100 to 130 euros including drinks and starters

Help: We are also staying at the Lassi apartments and are interested in the questions raised by others here. Can ANYONE help out with answers about the towels and beds??? Thanks.

We are going to the Lassi apartments on 18th August and need to know whether bath towels are going to be provided. Also would like to know what the apartments are like. Thanks

we are going to the lassi apartments in august and would love to hear from anyone who has visited. We are especially anxious to know whether the sofa beds etc are suitable for children age 11... we have had a poor experience (two inch thick foam and sleepless nights!)in fuertaventura recently.
