I have just got back from terry's apartments travelled june 08. I would not stay at these apartments again and for only one reason the location which was up a steep hill in the heat of the day it was like climbing mount everest, once the evening came and it was not too hot it was not to bad. The apartments were clean and and tidy and good value for money. You have a tv in your room and can get air-con at a cost of 5 euro's per day, you could also hire the safe at a cost of 10 euro's per week. These apartment would be better if they had a swimming pool (something to look forward to once you had climbed the hill). You can use the olive grove apartments pool but you have to keep climbing up the hill!!
all in all a good holiday but what spoilt it for our holiday party was the location some people have said the hill climb was not to bad well if you book these apartments you can judge for yourself, but I did not enjoy the climb. Most of the apartments have a sea view but not room 4 so if you are going to stay here make sure your paper work say's sea view or you will get this room.

We have just got back from staying at Terry's. Lovely apartment, clean, spacious and great views. The hill is a problem if you are not that fit and decent footwear helps! However most accommodation in Kefalonia is on a hill! Going up the hill for me was ok, it was going down that I suffered. It had rained overnight and the road was very slippery. My foot went from under me and I landed on my backside. Fortunately I was fine but I was very careful from then on. Walk on the left hand side going down, its not quite so steep. Kefalonia is beautiful, it's our 2nd visit. We stayed in Katileos last time - Lassi is nicer and Argostoli is within walking distance. If you can hire transport then I really recommend it - the best parts of the island are away from the tourist areas. Would we go back to Terry's? Yes - We didn't see anywhere else in the area that was as good value.

I stayed at Terry's in June 07. I'd never heard of Kefalonia and just got a random last minute booking. Was unsure what to expect. A good deal really and the rooms are as good as anywhere else on offer, but much cheaper. The hill is no problem unless you are very unfit and the beaches are 10 min away - not far but a bit of a zig zag and you can't rush in the heat. The main strip is quite small so its only a quick 5-10min walk to get to at night, but it's very pleasant and reasonable also. The island is well worth exporing and a trip to Argostoli is worth it for a night out. Not a young lads island but it's a great place overall. I'd go back in the future and if the price was right, I'd definetly stay at Terry's again

Hi there I am the first choice representative at Terry's studios and have been there since mid April. I would just like to confirm that there is no problem with room 4 in these studios, except it is the only room in the property that hasnt got a sea view. Should you choose Terrys, and dont pay for a sea view, then you will have this room. If anything, I would say room 4 is more private with its own terrace and remains cool throughout the day which is ideal with the heat out here. Hope this helps when deciding ........ ![]()

| Although no.4 doesn't have a balcony does it at least have somewhere to sit outside? Do the apartments have electric kettle or do we need to take a travel one? | |
