We have visited Kefalonia for the past 19 years and for the last 8 or so have stayed exclusively at Emma apartments for two weeks each year,the rooms are clean and simple and ideal for a relaxed unsophisticated holiday,we have holidayed with friends and on our own and the owners Vassili and Maria have always greeted us like long lost friends,the sunset views from the apartments are without doubt the best on the Island.Highly recommended.
Intersting to read the other rather negative comments. My wife and myself had a wonderful break at Emmas Studios. We stayed in the Ground floor apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed it and were particularly pleased with the easy access to Argostoli just over the Mountain besides Oskars. I thought the family were lovely.
We have just come back from a week staying at Emmas studios/apartments, what a disappointment this place is. Furniture very old fashioned and dark, there was very little in the way of cutlery and crockery and what there was all had to be washed before use. We were one of the lucky one who had a plug for the sink which just about fitted so you had to wash up quickly! The shower was not much better. Also it is right next door to Oscars restaurant/bar, at this time of year it is not so busy but in the height of the season sitting outside must be unbearable, the only good thing is they are supposed to finish at 11.30pm! It is such a shame because everyone said with some money spent to get them into the 21st century they could be greatly improved We did this holiday as a last minute deal so it wasn't expensive, but it could have been so much better.
