A Good standard of accommodation. We had the room on the back, a compact comfortable studio with all the amenities. View from the our balcony didn’t unfortunately have a sea view but overlooked a glorious well kept tropical garden. Although these studios are situated on the main Lassi road, our back room was quiet and had the benefit of being in the shade most of the time making it nice and cool on return from the beach. Room was cleaned twice a week and fresh bedding and towels changed once a week by Denis (Did a good job, we thank you). The nearest beach of ‘Gradakia’ was about 5 minutes walk away, nice little local beach and not so crowded. ‘Makris Yialos’ beach is the best but is about 20 minutes walk, fantastic for snorkelling with soft sand right into the sea, although the sunbeds and umbrellas are well overpriced.
The Eleanna studios are placed close to all bars and restaurants, but I’ll have to say the food was much the same in most of them, much better to eat up the road in Argostoli which was far superior! Get a cab there, it’ll only cost 4 euros.
Kefalonia is a very beautiful island and car hire is well recommended. Roads are steep and in parts very close to the edge of a sheer drop, but don’t be alarmed, some of the reports I have read about the roads can put a lot of people off, but a little common sense and alertness and you’ll be fine. We got a good car deal from the travel company ‘Pefanis’ which was booked through our Kosmar rep. Only 135 euros for 4 full days hire, well worth it. Tour the island at your leisure and take in the fantastic views!

| My sister and I stayed here for a week in June. Although pretty basic, our room was nice, clean and had the great view of the sea! The staff were friendly too. You have the use of the pool next door. However, if you have any difficulties in walking - this is not for you as the apartments are located ontop of a steep hill. The beaches are a mere 10-15mins walk on a the main road - great because you pass through all the shops!!! |

| Three apartments above car hire shop on main road. One bedroom apartment (where we stayed) was great, large fridge/freezer and full size electric cooker (never used, eating out is so cheap!). Lots of space, plenty of drawers and a large wardrobe. Dolphin supermarket nearby. Some noise from traffic on main road. The other two apartments at Eleanna are a studio for 2, which is compact and a large two-bedroomed apartment for 5. |
