Ventura Rooms

I cannot recommend this accommodation enough, Nick and Fotini are the perfect hosts and really enjoy making a fuss over you while you are there. We have been for the last two years and we are booked again to go this year, we would never want to stay anywhere else. The views from the apartments are beautiful and Nick will fire up the BBQ for you in the evening if you fancy a "night in". The rooms are always spotless and a bottle of wine is there to greet you after Nick or Fotini collect you from the airport. Don't be put off by the walk up the hill, it's really not that bad and helps to work off your dinner in the evening!

Nick and Fotini have become very good friends, we have been visiting them for the last 3 years, in fact we fly back next Saturday to see them. Either Nick or Fotini meets us at the airport or arranges our car hire for us, we feel like part of the family.

We have only been home a day, and are booking to return in september. Our first trip to the island was made extra special by Fortina and Nick whilst staying at Ventura Apartments. What a fantastic find! The whole holiday was amazing and they made it feel like we were staying with "family"

We went last June to Ventura Rooms, Lassi and loved it so much are going back this year - next Tuesday, in fact!   We were met at the airport as promised and driven to the apartments so no problems with transfers.   The apartment itself was simple, but with everything you need and beautifully clean.    In fact it was cleaned  every day to the highest standard.    Fortina and Nick could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.   They wanted us to enjoy Kefalonia and did everything they could to ensure we did - and we did!   The views from the apartments were breathtakingly beautiful - daytime and evenings, utterly amazing.   The hill was a bit daunting at first but we got used to it and though it may sound a bit strange, quite fond of it after the first week.   We used to stop off about two-thirds the way up at the small church (for a short rest and to cool down) so we jokingly tell friends "we went to church every day"!   Lots of Tavernas in the main street (10 minutes away, down the hill!) very nice beaches - everything you could wish for - in fact it was a real "holiday" - can't wait till Tuesday!!

Just returned home from Kefalonia having had another fabulous stay with Fotini and Nick at Ventura Rooms. This is my 7th visit in 3 years and I would not consider staying anywhere else. The views are spectacular, the cleanliness is excellent and the care that is taken to ensure your stay is enjoyable is superb.I have already booked for next year and will return many times in the future.
