I, together and my wife and two friends, Stayed at Marianna Studios recently. Not only did we find it an A1 place to stay, but, I was unfortunately taken ill and was hospitalised. The young lady, Marianna, was a tremendous help to us. She personally went with my wife and I to the hospital. Visited me whilst in there, and generally ensured we received whatever assistance was needed!
We will certainly stay at Marianna Studios on our next visit. All the staff were excellent. The facilities, ie. rooms, laundry, pool, staff etc couldnot have been better. The comment re. lack of privacy, with other holiday makers strolling past ones balcony, is down to lack of respect on the part of those people NOT the Studio operations.
Top marks to Marianna and her Studio facilities.  |

These studios are in a good position and are well looked after. The pool area is spotlessly clean and tidy with lots of sun beds and umbrellas both around the pool and in the garden. Our room was cleaned every other day and towels and linen changed twice a week. We did actually stay in room number 1 and must say we did not find it a problem at all. If we were sat outside the apartment we found other guests to be extremely friendly and usually spoke to us when they passed by. Marianna does a great job of looking after the pool bar every day from 9 in the morning until 7 in the evening. We met lots of people who stayed at these studios every year and if we do return to Lassi we would certainly stay here again.
This is a small family run complex and we could not fault anything in the 2 weeks we stayed there. Well done. |

Makris gialos beach is beatiful!! sandy with clear blue water is worth going! "makris gialos" snack bar great food, friendly lads work there make you smile. super market next to the marianna's where you can find anything, family run as well. Lassi resort busy in the suumer months, tavernas, bars, restaurants, anything you ask for. ah! chinese restaurant down the fanari road very good! |

Just wanted to say that mr Kerfoot is lying!! Marianna's is a lovely place, beatifully kept, quiet, with beatiful gardens, very close to the beach and the centre of Lassi resort. you didn't seem disappointed while you were there! I saw you!!! Room 1 has got three windows: one so you see the garden, one above the kitcenette and another one in the bathroom. so if you open all the windows it's a very bright room. And this is COMMON SENSE!! I have been there. And I was there same time as you were. You didn't stay anywhere else but there. I just wonder why you bother being so rude. It's a family run hotel and you should respect more all the people working hard just to keep their guests happy. Did it ever crossed your mind that the stained sheet (as you say of course because I just think is another lie) was the laundry's fault? It has never happened to you washing your own clothes? You must be from another planet then.
We should keep going on holidays but respect more all the people we meet no matter where and what. It's our obligation being polite, kind and respectful. |

Stayed at Marianna Studios in September 2008. Been visiting Kefalonia for 14 years and are well aware of basic Greek accommodation. However, this was very disappointing. We stayed in Room 1 which faced the pool, the bed is situated in front of the door with 10feet between door and pool. Had one window which opened on to the footpath. There was no privacy at all. I do think Room 1 is probably the worst for its position.
We arrived Tuesday evening mid September, went for meal then went to bed. Wednesday morning we saw the bedding which was stained and dirty. The sheets were grey and the mattress protector was filthy. The mattress itself was indescribable. The staff quickly changed the sheets and mattress protector but shrugged shoulders at the state of the mattress. In 14 years visiting Kefalonia we have never experienced this problem.
We didn't let it spoil our holiday as we adore Kefalonia, but we did find, at our own expense, alternative accommodation for 5 nights of the holiday. We will go back to Kefalonia in June 2009 but definitely not to the Marianna (First Choice).
Marianne is in a good position in Lassi, close to beaches, bars and restaurants - a positive. |

We have stayed in quite a few places in Lassi but the Marianna Studios are the best.
You get good service all round when you stay here.
Very clean and tidy,nice surroundings,nice pool and bar serving good food.
We would recomend it.

 Loved Marianna studios. Girls working in pool area lovely and obliging. Food excellent value and nicely cooked. Rooms cleaned and fresh sheets and towels every other day. Didn`t use the pool as beach only five minute walk away. Only two gripes-balcony not very private as Londoners seem to think they can walk past your balcony to get to the back of their room, air conditioning set at 75 degrees so not much use,fortunately fans in room. Free safety deposit boxes useful. Getting ready to book again for next year!! |

 Loved this hotel!!!!!
The rooms are just the right size and very comfortable! The restaurant opposite has live music most if not all nites so its nice 2 sit on ur balcony while ur getting ready with a few drinks and listen 2.
Its 5mins walk away from the beach and from So Simple and the shops.
Taxis are always goin past so u dont have 2 wait ages if ur going in 2 Agostoli or somewhere.
The staff are VERY friendly and always willing to help. (Even when i ask 4 a pencil sharpener 2 sharpen my eye liner) hee hee!!!!!
The maid keeps the room very tidy and doesnt come 2 early (Usually between 10:30-11 everyday) and she gives u clean sheets and towels!!
Will defianatley be booking with the hotel this year!!!!!
Not long and i'll be coming back!!
Cant wait!!!

| We stayed at the Marianna Apartments for 2 weeks at the beginning of September, and after being to Greece previously, we were very pleasantly surprised at the apartments. They were nice and clean, and you could see that they took pride in the apartments and gardens. All the staff were friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay here. |

| Just got back from these apartments. They were at one end of resort, 50 yards from a well stocked supermarket, 4 minute walk to the other end of resort, and very well placed. The pool is not huge, but adequate for splashing about! The poolside bar/cafe was perfect for lunches. The apartments themselves are clean and fresh looking. Ours had a safety deposit box and ceiling fan as well as fridge, two cooking rings and a kettle provided. I would happily stay here again. |

| Very clean and tidy studios. The cleaners are very polite and friendly. We found it to be quite noisy during the day from 10am-6pm, as our studio overlooked the pool, which was also open to the public, which made the pool area and gardens crowded with people not actually staying at Marianna. Not enough privacy on the balconies either. A lot of noise from the roadside especially in the evening. Would not recommend Marianna studios for quietness as advertised in brochure. |
