Had the same problem last year so stayed at Polymnia Apartments just below Sissy pool. Sissy had been taken over by a foreign tour operator (Scandinavian/Dutch??) and as it is nowhere to be seen with British tour operators , I can only presume it is the same this year.

Hi, We have stayed at the Sissy apartments four times to date and I am trying to book to stay again this year as the view is UNBEATABLE, but have so far been unsuccessful in trying to find out which tour operator they are on with.
Please can anyone help as I have tried numerous travel agents and no one has them listed!
I am in the UK.
Thanks,
Kate ![]() | |

We have just spent a week in Lassi at the Sissy Studios. We had seen the reviews before we went and were a bit concerned about some of the comments. As other people found, the location and views are fine, but the rooms are very basic and could do with a good clean and redecorating. However, the floors were cleaned mid week, and the sheets and towels changed once in the week. It was usefull to have the sellection of drinks and food in the apartment when we arrived, as it saved going shopping too often. The pool is lovely; clean and was never too busy, with sun beds always available. Overall, we had a lovely holiday. Lassi itself is a nice little town. We did go on a couple of the Kosmar trips to see more of Kefalonia and to Ithaca. As it's the first time we have stayed in apartments in Greece, we cannot compare Sissy with others, though they are a bit grotty !

| We read eviews on this site which were not too flattering. However they have good basic facilities and air conditioning can be hired. The views are breathtaking and well worth the trek up the steps. Despite the apartments being near enough to resort, the location is still peaceful. Pool is great with plenty of shade but pool bar not always manned. Staff are friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay at Sissy Studios. | ||||||||||

Just returned from a brilliant fortnight here again. Tried to book for next year but Kosmar have dropped them. They refused to say why. They are in the first edition of their brochure for 2006 but are now OUT. If anyone finds out if another tour operator takes them on please post here.

Stayed here in 2002 and returning inJuly 2005.(couldn't have been that bad!) The location is ideal and although they are up a hill, it is not too bad. You should try Liberatos

We have just returned from Sissy Apartments and we were very happy with them. They are basic, but that was expected, the views are breathtaking, the only problem was the steps to the pool, all 40 of them. There is a new owner now and he is very pleasant, this is his first season and he is building a new pool bar and terrace, hopefully the bar will be open more often. We had a good time, look out for the beautiful sunsets.

| I have to say when we first arrived at the apartments at night, I was highly disappointed - the floor was dirty and the bed was very uncomfortable. When I woke the next morning though it did not seem so bad especially as the views from our room were superb. They are the sort of views that you can sit and watch the sunset every night. The apartments do not have any safety deposit boxes. A Kosmar board is set out outside room 106 which is a courtesy room. On your day of departure you have to vacate your room by 12 o'clock, but we paid the extra 20 euros to stay to 4 o'clock. The only disappointment is that the pool bar was never open. Even when the owner is sat right next to it he still says its closed and will not sell anything! | ||||||||||

| Forgot to say that because of the position of the aprtments you will probably not need to pay 6 Euros for air con each day. The rooms do not get direct sunlight until just before the sunset. This means that if you keep the curtains drawn when you come in at lunchtime it is as cool as if it was air conditioned! plus if you arrive after 6pm there you cannot get the control for the air con until miday when the kid by the pool turns up! | ||||||||||
