Kekatos Studios

My husband and I have stayed at Kekatos Studios on many occasions over the last 8 years,usually room 3, they are value for money, the views are great .Studios are clean, beds and towels are changed regularly. Niki the owners daughter is friendly and helpful. We have stayed ther twice this year 2 weeks in July and a week in September, unfortunately Exl went into liquidation while we were there.We hope to be able to continue staying there in the future. As we are both in our late 60s we have a car so the hill doesn't bother us.We have been going to Lassi for 21 years these are the best accommodation for the money we have found.We have seen quite a few changes over the years but nothing too extreme. We have made many friends over the years and keep in touch through the year.

2 time we'd been here and even better than the 1. Alot of work had been done to it including a fountain at the back. The owner was very friendly when we met him.The views are excellent an cleanliness was brilliant.Extremly quiet but the steep hill to get to it can be hard work.

Stayed here in end August-start of September. It was the 2nd time we have stayed here. Rooms were very clean and linen changed twice a week.

These apartments are really nice and clean, fabulous views-we had room number two right on the top floor. These appear to have recently been decorated. you even get a free safety deposit box. The only down side is the hill is a killer if your not fit.

Location excellent, quietness and cleanliness good. Sorry I didn't notice comments section on a previous posting. Walk the quiet route to Fanari lighthouse, probably takes over an hour the long scenic walk to Argostoli, going past the Fanari lighthouse and then watch the turtles in the harbour near the fruit market, when the fishing boats come in about 11am.

Stayed at Kekatos Studios, Sept/Oct. 2003. Request top floor for a magnificient view, small balcony to the front, huge balcony on side with large table and chairs. Five minute walk to beautiful beaches. Walk the Fanari lighthouse route to Argostoli, and see the turtles at Argostoli waterfront approx. 11am when the fishing boats come in. Have a good holiday!!

Ask for top floor for a magnificent view, both top floor rooms have a small balcony on the front, and a huge patio on the side.

I went to Lassi four years ago and fly out again on Sunday! We are staying at the Kekatos - have heard good reports.. As I read this site my memories are coming back particularly when hearing restaurant names mentioned! I have heard a few mentions of famous people on teh island at present, can anyone give some info...

If any one would like any info. on these studios feel free to contact me, I thought that they were O.K. when we first arrived my first impression was they were abit small but very clean (rooms are cleaned and bed changed twice a week) then I opened the balcony doors and that did it for me the view was breath taking even now I'm thinking of the evenings we sat on the balcony drink in hand just watching the sun setting.
Oh! and by the way if any one's going don't take a kettle these one there.

Four of us are due to go on holiday very soon we will be staying at the Kekatos Studios can any one tell me what they are like and also the best places to visit.

my stepdaughter stayed there last summer(we were in the liberatos village).they are clean and tidy apartments and we were there in july and only 3 or 4 were being used.there is a bigger complex right next door and you can use their large pool and bar.only 5 mins walk from makries yialos beach.fairly steep uphill walk from main road(200 yds or so).pictures in the kosmar brochure,ok!
