I must say,we have stayed in many places in Greece and around the globe, but this part of the world is very special and Villa Sofia is a beautiful, friendly, clean and well run little business. We have stayed there twice and are just looking into going back next year. Wonderful and highly recommended............. |

 My family and I have just returned from Skala, Kefalonia, where we stayed at Villa Sofia Apartments. On arrival Georgios, the owner, made us very welcome. We had adjoining first floor studios which were clean, bright and very well equipped. Bed linen and towels were changed twice during our week long visit by a friendly and helpful lady, "The Boss" as Georgios called her! These apartments certainly deserve more than the "B" rating they currently have. Georgios was more than helpful throughout our stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Sofia and Skala as a friendly, safe holiday destination. Beach, shops, tavernas, bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Hire a car and explore the island. Take in the fabulous beaches of Anti Samos and Myrtos. Cruise to the beautiful islands of Ithaka and Zante.
Can't wait to return!

P.S. The 200m walk from the coach drop off point was a doddle, even after a long day's travelling!!

| had a lovely stay at villa sofia,georgios and sofia made your stay a welcome one.the appartments were beautifully kept,also nice size rooms. villa sofia has been open about two years, it has been very well looked arter.the walk to the beach is less than five minutes .georgios is very interested to know if you like their village aswell as their island and hope's your stay is a good one.i would love to visit these appartments again in the near future. skala is a lovely part of kefalonia.its a real must to go |

| just arrived back this afternoon,"villa sofia" appartments, are beautiful and clean with a pretty garden at the front, will certainly go by there to stay again, they are a credit to georgios and sofia,keep up the good work.they made you feel at home. the village is very handy and the locals very friendly too.skala is a lovely resort, the island kefalonia is so beautiful well worth a visit, |

| Stayed there last week .It was above average and very quiet .The balcony was very close to the next room's balcony which sometimes made it seem as though you were sharing a balcony but the best thing of all -you can flush toilet paper !!!.The shower was also excellent . |
