 Room 2 : Basic but spacious apartment, up about 14 steps (more steps to upper floor apartments)
On a fairly busy corner part of the road, but soon get used to the intermittant traffic noise, appeared worst in the mornings. Very little noise from the restaurant below during our stay thoigh always appeared busy
Very reasonable balcony with a view inland across to a pool bar. Fans can be hired (needed!!) down in the restaurant
Short walk down to the beach and equally short walk to the high street and amenities.
Adequate maid service. Towels and linen changed twice in 2 weeks, bins and room tidy in between as well
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Socrates, good food and service in the restaurant and 10% off the bill! as we were staying there. Would go back anytime | |

This accommodation is spacious by Greek standards and no more basic than most other traditional studio accommodation. However it is probably kept cleaner than most - we had towel/linen changed twice a week with bin emptying in between. Brilliant location and not far to crawl back upstairs after eating far too much good food downstairs. | |
