9/10 julian furnell (August 22, 2011)

Just got back from the Zephyros and wasn't disappointed, the rooms were clean, the beds were great best nights sleep ever in greece!!,and the air con was spot on too.Andreas and his wife were very nice and plesant, the pool was great and in the day was very quiet you couldn't here a pin drop sometimes, the only downfalls no fans in the eating area's,wasp's were a pain sometimes, and there's only so much cheese and ham you can eat in the mornings,in other words less said about the breakfasts the better!!,you have about a ten minute walk in the evening to get to the main street, and about 15 mins to get back, unless you get a taxi which on the last night we did at a cost of 5 euro's,all other guests were friendly including some germans so no probs with this one!

10/10 Andy Miller (May 13, 2011)
Have stayed here twice a year since this hotel was opened. We are made welcome all the time and Andreas, Voula and the girls work really hard to make you feel welcome. The rooms are always clean and the pool area is spotless. Snacks are available all day and are cheap and plentiful. The barbecue night is always good if you are a meat eater and a midnight dip is recommended if you have not drunk too much (although you will need a good drink once Andreas starts to sing) The walk to Skala is about 10 minutes but the walk back is difficult if you have a buggy. Taxis are cheap for the return journey. Restaurants are all good with Aquarius one of the best. The Italian is also very good but a bit pricey. I would recommend hiring a car off the internet before you go as you will find it much cheaper than hiring once you are there. Excursions are a lot of money and you will save money by hiring a car and doing the tours yourself.

LOCATION - EXCELLENT

QUIETNESS - EXCELLENT

CLEANLINESS- EXCELLENT

My Husband  and I stayed at the Zephyros this year 1st July - 15th July 2007 along with twenty family members who came out for our wedding, which took place on 11th July at Skala Town Hall which was the most fantastic day ever. Andreas and Voula done our wedding reception at the Hotel and they really did us proud. It was their very first wedding and we are sure it won't be their last. Andreas and Voula are the most friendly and loving couple who make you feel as you are part of their family for the length of your stay. Great food prepared by Voula, great atmosphere all day every day and nothing is too much trouble for them. Their Hotel is situated in an ideal spot with beautiful views, from their own gardens to over looking the pool right to the sea.
We have booked already to go back July 2008 and we can't wait, not only for our holiday but to meet back up with our friends Andreas and his lovely wife Voula.

Fabulous holidayMagic location.

Voula & Andreas and their family are the most accomodating hosts that we have ever stayed with.

Sunrise at the Zephyros  Naughty the Cat   Andreas hard at work!

The food (home made by Voula) was fantastic, the family are great to be with they let you have the run of the hotel and look after you so well.

Just book it, lay back and relax. You'll come home refreshed and well fed!

My wife was unwell out there and Voula & Andreas could not do enough for us, Wonderful people, thank you so much.

We will be back soon, as soon as Laura is well again.

Nik Charman (June 12, 2006)

Just come back from a week in Skala and stayed at the Zephyros. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, laid back atmosphere and a quiet holiday. Perfectly placed for a 10-15 min walk into town. If the hill leading up to it becomes too much there is another way in and out of town going out the top way or a taxi will cost 5 euros.

Facilities are great and couldn't ask for anymore. Lovely view if your room is facing the sea like ours was looking out over toward mainland Greece and Zante.

Andreas and his wife couldn't be more accommodating and entertaining !!

Excellent for couples. A very relaxing place to stay. But would not be ideal for young children. We did however have a great time and will return one day!

Great Hotel, with great pool and bar area. small hotel with big facilities. Family are eager to please. Very quiet location, food good. A bit of a trek up the hill , last 100m the worst. If you intend to see the island hire a car. we will be going back as soon as we can. Andreas's mum is an angel, and works 25 hours a day to ensure you get what you want. we stayed in room 202, which gets the morning sun with mountain views. Breakfasts are good and are typically continental, but you do get toast, and you can pay extra for a fry up!!. The Zephyros gets Top Marks from us.
