I first visited Skala in 2003 and stayed at the Chrisoula Studios...and am sorry to say this but what a big disappointment! The Studios are very tiny, didn't feel at all clean and weren't cleaned at all during the week we were there (the maid literally went in to empty the bin!). I would not recommend these Studios to anyone as to be totally honest they would be a great disappointment to your holiday. |

| We were not impressed. We were shoved up to the attic room which got far too hot and the towels/bedding didn't look clean when we arrived. The drains stank and although we were there for a week our room wasn't touched by the maid (with Greek plumbing I found this quite disgusting). We had to collar her for extra towels and ended up buying our own toilet paper. I don't mind "basic but clean", afterall I'm not going to be sitting indoors all day but some standards would be nice. The owner seemed to think he was doing us a favour letting us stay in the dump, anyone would think he wasn't getting paid. It's almost like there's a cartel of hoteliers and tour operators leaching off poor unsuspecting tourists. In this respect of the holiday we felt ripped-off. |

| Really well located close to shops, restaurants and beach, but really quiet. We had room 7 at the front which is 3 times the size of all the other apartments and sleeps 3, with a double bed and single, plus huge balcony you can watch the sunset from, you can see the sea if you put your head around the corner, but quite honestly the shade during the hotest part of the day on the balcony was more welcome, I would definately go there again! |

are at the back owner nice
supermarkets,tavernas,all close by
try the following
ta pitharia,apistolis,pines,socrates,the loft bar
minolis,makis swimming pool during the day
marietta pool

| We would like to know about these studios have been to Scala many times but not stayed here, thes are the only ones Golden Sun have left but i am not sure what they are like Can anyone help
