We have stayed at The Panorama 5 times now, and you couldn't possibly get a better welcome. Every time we clamber off the coach Dino says "Welcome Home!" and forces us to have a beer with him! The hotel is in a great location - near the beach, the main square and everything you need, but still quiet. There are only 8 rooms (clean, comfortable with nice balconies), and Dino and Georgia are lovely hosts. You have to book early, as so many people (like us!) come back here year after year - which says it all really.Oh, and you simply have to try Georgia's wild cherry cheesecake with ice cream - it's amazing. And so's her apple pie. And the coffee and walnut cake.

My Wife and stayed at the Panorama in May 2004,and we have nothing but praise for the hotel and for Dino.He made us welcome from the moment we got there, his wife's cheese cake is a must. As for Dino closing the bar at 4pm until 6pm, not all afternoon, hasn't your previous comment maker ever been to Spain? It was our first trip to Kefalonia, and we will certainly be going bak to the Panorama

We stayed with Dino at the Panorama last July and had a fabulous time.He was so friendly and made us feel really welcome. The rooms were spacious and airy and spotlessly clean. Couldn't have wished for more. There is a garden bar where you'll receive a warm welcome and great service whether you're staying there or not. We would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed with Dino at the Panorama the last week of the season and although the location, the rooms, the view, everything else could not be faulted, the fact that there was absolutely NOTHING else available during the stay (Dino closed up his cafe area immediately after serving breakfast every day). We had been told by our Thomson rep that if we spoke to Dino about early breakfasts on days when we were going out he would be happy to help but I found him somewhat abrasive and reluctant, to the point where I didn't bother after the first time. He had his family staying in one of the rooms on the top floor and the bar area was littered with childrens bicycles and other toys. He spent many evenings with the reception door locked playing cards with friends so we had to enter the hotel through the back entrance. Sorry but I didn't find Dino particularly helpful and although the accommodation was really nice, this did to a point spoil the time I was there. There were, however, some really nice and helpful Greek waiters at the local restaurant, the Pines and I would recommend their establishment to anyone.

I recently (june 02)stayed at the panorama with my boyfiend and we couldn't have stayed in a nicer place. The hotel is small (only 8 rooms), clean and friendly. Dino who owns and runs the hotel goes out of his way to ensure you enjoy your stay. The bedrooms are spacious with large balconies overlooking the sea or mountains and the hotel is barely a two minut walk from the main street and beach. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone and can't wait to return myself!
