Can heartily recommend the Studios. We stayed in the new part, having been previously about 10 years ago. New apartments are slightly bigger and have aircon for a reasonable charge. Nikos was very helpful, he couldn't do enough when my son was ill. (Clean sheets were very welcome!) And he offered to call the doctor on our behalf and translate if necessary. The poolside bar is a great facility - the Cheeseburger was one of the best I've had. And there was always plenty. The end of the pool was were the summer fires ended. I bet Nikos was nervous! And it's worth getting a car from Venus, just over the road. When I mentioned that I had rented a 4WD off him about 10 years ago, he included umlimited mileage and a child seat for no charge.

We returned from our two-week stay at Eryphilli on the 7th August. This place is great - Nikos and Peter (and their families) were perfect hosts and made sure we were all looked after during our stay. The food at the poolside bar was a particular highlight - despite trying many of the sea front tavernas in Katelios we kept coming back for more of Nikos/Peter's menu - the Kefalonian meat pie was excellent as was the weekly BBQ. The accommodation is very good - clean and tidy - and the pool area lovely with superb views of the surrounding countryside. There is a minimarket 5 minutes walk along the road and we also used a bakers shop on the left on the road down to Katelios - highly recommended. We'll definitely be going back.

We stayed at eryphilli studios on 3rd july for 2 weeks this is the 5th time nicos and peter are such nice people they cant do enough for you we took some freinds with us for the first week they regretted not staying for 2 weeks this place is so relaxing cant wait for next year hope nicos gets is returant built in time peter is an exellent chef | |

| we had a fantastic holiday late september early october. the weather was superb and so was everything about eryphilli apartments. the room was basic but very clean and we had the most fantastic views. the towels and bedding were changed every three days. nikos the owner was a perfect host at all times and the food served at the poolside bar was outstanding and very reasonable. we can highly recomend the kefalonian meat pie!! nikos took special care to keep the pool and surounding areas very clean too. we will certainly return to kefalonia, a truly special place.tony and caroline,isle of wight | ||||||||||

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Eryphilli in August 2006. Very clean and nice apartments, lovely pool area and good location in a very relaxing and delightful resort. The owners Nicos and his brother Peter are both extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. They are the perfect hosts. Good food and nice themed nights such as a set meal barbecue and good atmosphere around the pool bar. We would definitely return here one day as we very much enjoyed our stay with Nicos and Peter and loved the island. | ||||||||||

| Hi , we have just been to eryphilli apartments in katelios, and we were very pleased with it . We had a great time and it was very difficult to come home . Nickos the owner along with his brother peter went out of their way to make us feel at home . We have a young boy ( hugh ) and he enjoyed himself immensley. The apartments were really comfy and the pool was really good . Hugh was especially pleased with himself as he managed to start swimming properly which we were very happy about . All the other people who were staying there were very friendly and all got on well together. If by any chance you are off to eryphilli in the near future , please send our thanks to nickos and peter for our stay . We would certainly go back there. There is no cash machine in katelios at the moment , but if you walk to the beach the last shop on the right hand side will give you cash on a debit card if you need it.(5%charge). We just got back Aung 2006 and had a great time. We stayed in the new apartments, which are great very spacious, all new funishing and even a shower cubicle which I have never seen in greece before. The room was very clean as were all the guest areas. Great quiet place to stay and the food is great. We did not go to one of the set evenings but they looked very good. Would stay here again. We stayed at the Eryphilli Studios for two weeks in July 2006 and it was fantastic. If you want a place that is mainly for couples, then the Eryphilli Studios is ideal. Nikos (the owner) is very friendly, and he goes out of the way to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Nothing is too much trouble for him. His brother Peter is the chef, and Nikos does a good job of promoting his set evening meal. The set menu changes nightly and you won’t be disappointed because he is very good indeed. Peter trained as a chef with the Greek Navy, and has also worked at quality hotels on the mainland. There are a few decent restaurants in Katelios, and we tried quite a few of them. In fact I can’t think of on meal that wasn’t up to scratch. Kefalonia is a beautiful island, and very laid back and peaceful. We wanted a quiet relaxing fortnight in the sun at a nice hotel, in a good location. That is exactly what we got and we will definitely go back and do it all again. | ||||||||||

| A very peaceful place to stay with beautiful views of the mountains as you lazy around the pool. Very helful friendly staff. Apartments are nice but basic and were cleaned almost every day. Self catering facilities limited but there was a kettle and toaster! 1km from village but there is a supermaket at the end of the road and 2 more in the village. Bakery just down the road and also Jerry's taverna - great value for money, big meals and lovely food. Very nice Vegetarian meze. More tavernas down by the sea. Car hire available in the village. Good walks to Skala & Pastra. | ||||||||||

response to Letita Aplin we loved it our kids are 12 and 8 years of age and pretty much look after themselves, theres very little if much at all to do around Katelios for children, pool at the site is big enough for the number of apartments there.
beach is around 15 minutes walk from apartments, not many shops around and prices at Eryphilli are a little high as with the local shops, for things like ice creams and every day food items, i would strongly recommend to hire car and find the super markets as you wont belive how cheap they are.
its is away from the main road, very quiet, some great places to eat at local resturants good prices, very friendly people, great views, weather was fantastic, hot and dry every day (apart from about 2 hours in 3 weeks) cool in the evenings, no air con but have a mosquito door to let air in at night or day( attached to patio, like a patio door with no glass just mesh).

| Well, what can I say about Ketalios and the Eryphilli???
Heaven I think, is the words I am looking for. Nikos the owner and his family were lovely hosts and his bar-b-q on a thursday night in high season, was to die for.
Didn't think much to the manos rep. (Spent too nuch time lazing on the beach). The rooms were simple but tastefully decorated and the maid service came every other day. As a keen windsurfer I would recommend this to any windsurfing dudes, who are looking for tranquility where the swells are pretty cool.
Booked again for July next year so see you then Nikos and Maria and thanxs again for a swell 2 weeks. | ||||||||||
