Returned last week (6th august 2006) from a wonderful fortnight. Stayed in anemona studios and really enjoyed it.  The only downside being no air con or mosquito nets - but did purchase a net from ebay as i d read about this on the web and glad i did so i was a walking restaurant to the damn things when out and about.  Hired a fan from local mini market so that made the nights alittle easier but did find had to keep having a  cold shower at night to make it more bearable, but we are in Greece so it s to be expected. Accomodation was really clean, nothing looked old or was broken. Sea views to the balcony  (very hot)and mountain views to your other balcony which was nice and shady. The couple who clean the studio are really friendly and do an excellent job.  I read a couple of not so good reviews and wondered if we chosen the right place but in all honestly if you re after a long good rest and some peaceful quality time you ve found the right place.  The pool  you can use is only just across alittle track probably closer than most hotel pools from your room so don t let that put you off.  And the best thing is everyone is sooo friendly. They are wonderful people and stop you to shake your hand and to introduce themselves. It really is  a fantastic island.

We have just returned from a fortnight in Katelios staying at the Anemona apartments. We thoughjt the apartments lovely with the most fantastic views. Our only critisms are that there are no mosquito screens or air con. making it very hot at night(hire fans from the supermarket)and our linen was not changed as regularly as promised however tell the rep and she will sort it!We have been to the village before but feel it may be our last visit as there is so much building going on !

Bit set back up a dirt track, ideally need a car, all apartments stunning views, front balcony to the sea and coastline, rear windows/entrance to mountains. Apartments seem new, owner and cleaners friendly and keep grounds and room well. Have nothing but good things to say, so quiet and peaceful. We've got three kids less than 5 and they loved the place, pool next door (these two apartments are only ones within large radius) not great for kids (1 metre min depth) but Thomson's Galini is 15 min walk and great for kids.

Does anyone have any recent information about the Anemona Apartments?
