Gradakia Beach

Beaches in Kefalonia

This was quieter than the other beaches in Lassi - nice if you want to get away from the crowds.

Nice little quiet cove, doesn't get much breeze and sand can get very very hot. Sand isn't as yellow as the other two beaches in Lassi. Water is nice and clear. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas if thats your thing. Place selling all the usual food and drink, and is okay on price. Like all the beaches in Lassi, you need to go down a steep hill to get top them, fine going down, quite a hike coming up!

Brilliant little beach. Great for snorkelling as the water was crystal clear and lovely and warm when I visited in September 2002.

This is an excellent little beach close to the Lassi Hotel, only about 5 minutes walk at the most. Small but friendly, cheaper than the others and used by the local families. 10 euros for 4 sunbeds and 1 umbrella. The Greek Salad at the bar was excellent and 2.7 euros (not bad). The staff at the bar are very friendly.

This beach is beautiful-sandy not rocky. Mainly used by locals. Good selection of watersports.

We visited this beach often as it was the closest to where we were staying, and it was one of our favourites. Nice little beach, nice little bar with freindly staff and reasonable prices (unlike some beach bars), good snorkelling, and a little beach next door you can only reach by swimming if you want some privacy. Great.

We went to this beach as it was local to our Lassi Studios. Good sandy beach and gradual slope into water, a must for our toddler. Cheaper than other beaches for beds and brollies. The small taverna staff were the friendliest locals we met, with our toddler being doted upon and now speaking the lingo! The locals all use this beach, so you will end up perhaps swamped depending where you are on this small pleasant beach.

Small beach quite hidden but accessible over scrub land or going down to the Lassi Hotel following the road down and bearing left. A lot of locals use this beach. Small catering van on site and sunbeds for hire. Cheaper than main beaches. A bit pebbly, but sea is beautiful and some nice rocks around to sit on and dangle your toes in the water!
