By far the best Greek we had, although depends what you have. My husband had Lamb Kleftiko 1st time round which he didn't like, but I had the Beef and Onion Stew. We went back for the Beef dish twice more, as it was so gorgeous (melt in your mouth, no fat and plenty of it). If you want best seats best to reserve or get there early. Used by many Greeks as well, which to me says a lot about the place. Highly recommended. Best restaurant we went to.

Spent most nights here, as our toddler loved to run around to the music and dance with other kids, much to the displeasure of the waiter. Excellent setting, but don't do the cocktails. 6 Euros on a cocktail with virtually no alcohol in them, the most I've ever been ripped off. Stick to beer in this place you know where you stand!!

Excellent plants and worth a visit. Average on prices and if it's your thing the best place for talent spotting!!

We came here twice as the wine was very good, service very good and a good choice of food. One of top 3 restaurants we went to.

Good pizza and salad. Very average.

Good food. Definately the best for children. High chairs provided which is rare and the staff are very child friendly. Our toddler loved all the attention.

We went here because of previous comments on this web site. We thought this restaurant didn't warrant all the praise it got but was average.

We went to this beach as it was local to our Lassi Studios. Good sandy beach and gradual slope into water, a must for our toddler. Cheaper than other beaches for beds and brollies. The small taverna staff were the friendliest locals we met, with our toddler being doted upon and now speaking the lingo! The locals all use this beach, so you will end up perhaps swamped depending where you are on this small pleasant beach.

Unheard of for Kefalonia, but we had 4 1/2 days of torrential rain, thunderstorms and lightening, followed by a tremor. It didn't put us off as we had glorious sun either side of the rain. It did however send some people back to UK early as they didn't see the end of rain in sight.

We were highly impressed with this excursion. Good value for money, although you will have to pay extra to go in caves and on lake if you wish, but worth paying for. This covered all the main attractions we wanted to see on the Island.

We were recommended this restaurant, by a couple who had been 3 times. We liked it so much we went twice. Excellent views on the Fanari Road, superb chinese food and excellent service. Childrens play area also.
