We stayed at the Paradise in mid August.

The location is fine just up from the Galaxy supermarket on the right. The rooms were quite spacious and had a decent hob, utensils and fridge.  We were on the ground floor in apartment 5, not the best of veiws looking out onto the septic tank or the back of a shed, but you only sleep there.

The shower was one of the best we've ever had, never cold and powerful enough to get rid of all that sand in those awkward little places!  Dennis the owner was pleasant enough and passed the time of day occasionally.

I would recommend these apartments, but make sure you get first or second floor for a bit of a view.

Location:pretty good,a very short distance from main road,a couple of minutes away from shops/restaurants.We liked it.quietness:we have not heard any noise at all, very quiet indeed.Cleanliness:sheets got changed twice a week. The apartment is basic but clean.Owner Dennis is very friendly and helpful.Air-con costs extra $50-70 Euros for 2 rooms and safe box $10 Euros. We will go back to it in the future

I stayed at these apartments for 2 weeks 8/7/2007 to 22/7/2007.  Excellent apartment, room 13 which has a twin balcony.  Very clean with a proper shower basin and curtain which I have not had the luxury of having in other Greek apartments.  Good views of the mountains and the sea.  It is about a 10 minute walk down hill to the beach.  The owner Denis lives in the top apartment and is very helpful.  Air conditioning is turned on by Denis with a key and costs 35 euros per week.

Has anyone got any photo's of the Paradise apatments inside or out? And whats the friendliest and nearest bar called?

Stayed at these apartments 4th August to 17th August and found them to very clean. Kosmar said that they did not supply bath towels so we packed our own. On arriving at the apartments we found that bath towels were provided and then changed three times during our stay.
Would recommend these apartments to anyone who has experienced Greek accomodation in the past and is able to walk up hill for about 10 minutes in 90 degrees heat!
ps Excellent hot water supply. Never had a cold shower whole time I was there. Unheard of in my Greek accomodation experience.
Noise didn't seem to be a problem as previously stated but it probably depends on staying there at the time.
We had a ground floor apartment which meant we didn't have a private balcony so everybody that entered the apartments had to walk past us. This wasn't really a problem but I always seemed to be drinking at the time. People must have thought I was an alcoholic!

We have stayed here twice. It is in a quiet part of Scala although there is the occasional dog barking at cats. The studio was spotless as were the sheets and towels. The pillows were, however, diabolical but that seems true of all the studio/apartments I have stayed in on the Greek islands. The walk is steep but great for walking off the food eaten in the evening.

These apartments are very clean, near the centre of Skala at the top end of town (it helps to have goat legs). The beds and pillows are very hard and uncomfortable. The cooker consists of two hot rings which are very slow to warm so eat out!!! Doors banging are a big problem.

Has anyone been to these apartments? Going to these apartments in September, so any comments appreciated.

What are the apartments like and any tips on the area.

Can anybody give me any information on these apartments? Thanks.
