Fantastic restaurant. We are fussy where we eat and enjoy quality food, excellent service and good wine - we were not disappointed. From the outside the restaurant looks quite dark and not busy, in fact one of our party was reluctant to go. However upon entering it's a real jewel. Excellent service, fantastic food, wonderful relaxed court yard setting, great atmosphere and Vicky scored 10/10 for front of house service. I would recommend to all, slightly more expensive than the run of the mill tavernas. I don't write reviews, so in doing so this restaurant really impressed

Visited Casa Grec in January 2010. A wonderful experience in terms of service, food and ambience. I would highly recommend the restaurant for a "special" night out.

Located just off the main Argostoli sqaure, behind the Mirabel Hotel.
I believe the restaurant is closed on a Monday.
Perfect place for an anniversary, birthday or special celebration dinner for two.

Returned last weekend from Lassi and came across this amazing resturant cannot praise it high enough, the food, service & atmosphere is fantastic - this has got to be one of the best restaurants in the area.

We were made to feel so welcome by the staff, and on the two occasions we ate here, everything was perfect .

Would recommend if your eating here late on in the evening (after 10pm) it could be worth booking a table as it gets really busy with tourists & locals.

Can I just say that this restaurant is not called Casa Greco its Casa Grec.

I've been here a few times now when been to Kefalonia and it is the best!

I stayed in Lassi but got taxis to Argostoli just to go here.

Nice setting, candlelit courtyard.

Service is very good and the place has a great atmosphere

The canadian/greek lady who runs it remembered us from when we went there 7 years ago so this shows how attentitive she is with her customers!

If you go to Kefalonia you MUST go to Casa Grec (worth booking a table as they get busy)

Bit of a gem this - food was really, really good - a cut above the usual Lassi/Argostoli fare. Place is run very slickly by a Greek woman who has a Canadian accent.... may explain the on-the-ball service.

The house white wine, at 7 euro a litre was perfectly palatable, and the meal, considering what it was, was great value.

If you are after this restaurant, don't get confused with "El Greco" which is an altogether more basic proposition.

"Casa Greco" is found by heading from the main square towards the sea, and it's in a street off to the right. "El Greco" is also off the main square, but heading away from the sea.

having been introduced to casa greco by a local taxi driver on our request for a good restaurant we can honestly say it is excellent we have used it most nights on our last three visits and we will certainly visit again. having been through the menu we can recommed anything thereon

Hi Vicki! Thanks for the great food and service while we were in Argostoli. Canada misses you!

Another great place to eat. We only went here on our last night as it was a bit fancier than most places. The cost was a little higher but well worth it - try the surf and turf and the almond cake. Not the cheapest (not by much though) and very nice for a romantic meal. Might be cues so worth booking.

Just off the main square in a side street. Eating is done in the garden at the rear making the front seem a little deserted.Food was very good and house wine very tasty. Well worth a visit

Casa Grec is situated down a quiet backstreet just off the central square of Argostoli. We ate there 3 times. The atmosphere, food and service couldn't have been better. The staff were polite and the food was the best we ate during our visit.
