We visited Cava Dora several times during our holiday in Kefalonia. The food is delicious and we always enjoy our visit to the small family run Greek place. They also do take away/deliver food around the area.
It is good Greek food. Cava Dora is opposite the Ferry stop on the Portside in Agostoli. Do give it a try - Chicken Cava Dora is our favourite and the shrimps are lovely.
August 2011. Brief visit to Agostoli and again visited one of our favourite restaurants Cava Dora on the portside near to the ferry terminal. This little place is well worth a visit you will not be disappointed the food is really tasty Greek food and so reasonably priced. We have tried so many of the meals over the years, Chicken Cava Dora is good as is Pork and Onions. All starters are really nice. Lots of Greek locals visit this place, nice atmosphere.
October 2010. Another visit to Kefalonia. Cava Dora is a great little restaurant used by the Greek people. It is on the portside at Agostoli near to the Ferry. It provides great food at reasonable prices and it is good to move away from the Square and try something different. Well worth a visit. We have never been disappointed in the past 10 years..
Just returned from another holiday in Kefalonia in June 2010. We again visited Cava Dora a small traditional restaurant on the waterfront in Agostoli near to the Ferry. This is an excellent place to eat the food is so delicious and cheap. Eat in or take away we have never been disapponited in 18 years. It is very popular with the Greek fishermen and locals. We had pork chop with onions and chicken Cava Dora both were really delicious. Do give it a visit.
We have had take away meals from Cava Dora at the Portside in Agostoli for many many years, chicken and pork roated in the walk-in spit/grill. The food has always been excellent and good value for money. Wrapped in foil with chips and bread it is easy to take back to the apartment for a cheap relaxing supper.
