Fantastic locals' beach, very clean, good facilities, so much better than the noisy crowded makros in august. Beautiful and safe turquoise sea. See the signs for Makros and keep walking along the road out of town for a couple of minutes, turn down the entrance for white rocks hotel. Even in August, not too crowded, not many english tourists and very peaceful and relaxing. |

This is a top, top beach. There is nothing it doesn't have. The water is brilliant turqouise. There are good showers. The cafe is well stocked and cheap. There are lovely rocks to sit on. The sand is clean. The sunbeds are cheap and comfy. There are loads of kids playing. The loos are ok. There is quite easy parking if you're early.

| this beach is the nicest beach in lassi. it doesnt have any water sports on it though. price of sunbeds is ok. safe swimming is good but you can get big waves wen it is windy. there is showers,cafe and toilets. the sand is raked most nights. it is a blue flag beach. there is a life guard. the staff on the beach are very friendly. |

| Me and my family have been to kefalonia three times and have gone to this beach the most as it is great for everything, especially snorkling. good food and great seryice. say hi to yanni. definately go there. |

| We have been on every beach in lassi and this one is by far the most beautiful. Not overcrowded no set place for your sunbed which was nice and yannis the bloke who collects the money for the sunbeds is lovely! There can be big waves on windy days but the slope is so shallow going into the water child safety is fine! |

| Although we went in october you could still get on the beach. Fairly clean and the beacbar food was ok. The waves were gigantic, sometimes to big for a six foot bloke!! Maybe it was the season or the stormy weather! Suitable for children if the waves are small. |

| Platys Yialos is the quieter of the two main beaches in Lassi. The approach from the road is long and winding. Can't comment on suitability for kids I've heard the currents are stronger here than on Makris Yialos (the main beach) but couldn't swear to that. It has got a blue flag so is deemed clean and I can confirm that. Less noisy than the main beach. |

| Small but beautiful, sandy and clean - sand swept early mornings!, very clear sea, peaceful location. Nice for couples of all ages-but steep walk from road unless driven into car park.
Sea probably okay for kids, but I don't really know much about kids and wouldn't like to encourage many there in case they disturb the peace! |
