Astra Bar - (Bars in Lourdas)

Grant M

Otherwise known as Devs bar(after the cornershop lothario from Coronation Street),because the owner bares an uncanny resemblence to him. Relaxed, chilled out, beautiful views, top variety of music(60's cool to modern ditties),you can request your listening delights at the bar. Only drawback was the price of the cocktails, just as much as dear old blighty!

Muses Cafe - (Bars in Lourdas)

Muses is a new addition to the bars in Lourdas, Great position in the heart of the resort. Friendly atmosphere, the owners are really welcoming. The drinks are fantastic - would really recommend Bloody Marys. Watched the Champions League final there which was being played in my home country but never once thought of home!

Just got back from a fantastic week in Lourdas, that was made all the more special thanks to the Muses !!!!!! It was an oasis for three very thirsty Scottish people who liked the odd aperitif of a night. Thanks Nadia,Dmitri and Liza for making us feel so welcome and for the free shooters for the long walk home. This is by far the best bar not only in Lourdas but surely on the whole island and you can not fully enjoy Lourdas without sampling a cocktail from the Muses.
Look very much forward to going back. Thanks Again.

Pythos Aparthotel - (Accommodation in Svoronata)

Didn't know what to expect when we arrived so had no real expectations which was probably a good thing. The accommodation was fine , but location wise you are in the middle of nowhere so a car is probably a necessity and a torch is essential if you are walking back from 1 of only 2 bars (which are nothing to write home about) along the track at night which is not lit. The pool was lovely but the poolside bar was very quiet, which was a shame as the prices were not bad and as the bars in Svoronata are not up to much then they could capatilise on this. Staff friendly, although owner quite rude.
