Myrto Apartments - (Accommodation in Agia Efimia)

Chris M          10/10

We have just returned form our two week holiday at the Myrto apartments.  I am really surprised that there are so few reviews about these apartments. This is our fourth visit to the resort and our second time at Myrto.  I think they are some of the best apartments we have ever used in Greece. (We have been visiting Cephalonia for almost 20 years!)

The location is great, with sea views from most rooms.  The front of the building gets the morning sun, the rear gets the sun late afternoon.  They are well equipped, this year a hairdryer has been included.  They are extremely clean, and bins are emptied daily!   The owners, Kiki and Makis, live on the upper floor and they are very friendly.  It is a short walk up a gradual hill to the apartments.

It is only a very leisurely stroll of about 5 minutes to the tavernas on the waterfront. I would recommend 'Perasma' where Angelos and his staff will give you a warm welcome. The food is excellent value for money and there is always a dessert-on the house- if you like Greek sweets, and have room for one!

To all future customers have a great time.

To Perasma Restaurant - (Restaurants in Agia Efimia)

Hi to Angelos and all his family and staff at 'To Perasma'.

We have just returned from our two weeks in Aghia Efimia and once again returned to our favourite taverna.
This is our fourth year running in the resort.  We were instantly recognised by Angelos on our first evening.

There is always a warm welcome, for everyone.  Nothing is too much trouble.

New visitors can't miss it. It's on the waterfront and  the one that is busy, every evening.
The place with the pale blue chairs!!!!!!!!!!!! Many of the customers are regulars and large groups from the flotillas frequent the place.  The locals use the taverna, which is always a good sign!

The food is excellent  always freshly prepared! There is a special dish and a complimentary dessert each evening.  This year we did try an alternative for one night only, and boy did we regret it . The Posieden was lifeless, it was like a morgue and the food was disappointing.  Needless to say we returned to our favourite place and stayed with it for the two weeks, except when we went over to Zakynthos  to see our daughters.

Angelos, we won't forget to tell those on the day trip from Zakynthos to visit your place!!!!! Don't forget to send the Retsina back to us.
See you soon. have a great summer.
