I had read loads of great reviews on this site about Da Veronica's so we went on our first night and were really disappointed! The food was good but it took us about 40 minutes to get our starter and then another 40 minutes to get our main meal...and no apology whatsoever!

They said they were having an off day but it seemed like a bit of conciliatory patter to me, especially after we watched on the next evening from the next restaurant over, as people at Da Veronica were waiting interminably long for their meal again.  I'm used to mediterranean times but 45 minutes for calamari and vegetable souvlaki is appalling in comparison to all of the other restaurants we went to in Lassi and the food was very, very average.  Add to that a manager who screamed at his staff like Mussolini and suffice to say, we won't be back.

We ate here 3 times during our stay it was great everytime!! Stifado, and meat balls really amazing. Very good value for money!

Food was excellent, we visited four times the two weeks we were there and were never disappointed. Service was very good and we did not feel rushed even when it was very busy. Also recommend the cocktails in the bar after dinner, with non alcoholic choices for the kids.

da veronica's var and resturant was brilliant, it was the best bar and resturant in kefallonia and the best food and all the people was really cool. hopefully we will be going there next year.

Fantastic place to eat, waiters all really friendlyl, really difficult to find somewhere where we all were happy but even the three kids said this was the best restaurant they had been to in the holiday, we went back several times, and can not complain about a single thing. Would definitely make this a regular haunt if we go back to Lassi again.

Best restaurant in Lassi. We ate here loads during our two week stay. We tried all sorts from the large menu and were never disappointed. The waiters are so friendly and even brought out a surprise ice cream for my partners birthday - on the house. Brilliant atmosphere, brilliant service, try it out!

thought the food here was good, but the service wasnt great, we had to wait ages to get the bill, they just didnt seem bothered if we were there or not, definately cant fault the food though, it was lovely.

It was so disgusting, I ordered chicken and I swear it was the worst chicken I have ever consumed. Partner ordered steak and couldn't even eat it, it was that black.

We have been to kefalonia the past 2 years and have been to Da Veronica's nearly every night and found that everything from the service to the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the lamb kleftico and meatballs . My wife loved the vegetable mousaka,stuffed vine leaves,giant beans and baclava . The waiters were very friendly and recognised us straight away from the year before. Would recommend to everybody.Going back to Kefalonia in august and looking foward to eating there again.
