we stayed here for 2 weeks.lucky to have a balcony with a sea view - some were not so fortunate.rooms quite small with very basic equipment but kept very clean.location was excellent and restaurant below was very good.got a free drink on arrival and often got a free carafe of wine at dinner.recommended if you can get a balcony with a view.ron and sue june 2003.

Excellent views and good apartments.20 minutes walk to Argostoli and 30 mins to Lassi.suggest taxis at 5 Euros are best.Nothing in Fanari itself.Gerry has a free phone for guests use - local calls only.He runs the place and has all sorts of rules but dont let it put you off-he can be a good laugh.He does close pool and bar at 6.30 however which is a bit of a pain.
