La Calma Restaurant

What can I say?  What an awesome place to have a great time!  All the staff are friendly (especially the barman)   Wonderful coktails, nice food and a service with a smile.  Thanos, the sexiest and most entertaining barman ever!

visited La Calma in August this year and its definetley a great place to eat , drink and be merry!!!!! all the staff there are very welcoming especially Phillip with his welcoming smile. The food there is fantastic we ate there 3times!!The waitress could do with being more friendly towards her customers as we found her to be very unpleasant and unhelpfull at times.

would definetley visit La Calma again in the future if we should make a return to Kefalonia.

Hi all!! just to say that Las Calmas is definetley the place to be in Kefalonia. All the staff are so welcoming and the service there is fantastic. Philip is a very friendly person and makes the atmosphere there amazing, the food is very delicious and service at the bar is very efficient and entertaining (Thanks Thanos!). Caroline is a very friendly waitress and makes you feel very welcoming!!(Caroline, the monster munch are on the way in the post!!!!!)

Now back again in Wales, i am already misssing our nights out at Las Calmas, nearly all of the 2 weeks we were on holiday in Kefalnia were spent at Las Calmas and each moment was filled with enjoyment and friendly company.It was sad to leave on tuesday  We will definet visit again sometime in the future as it is the best place to be.
Philip, missing you already, thanks for making us feel so at home and welcoming!!!!

We had our first evening meal of the holiday at las calmas restaurant. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food (i had mousakka and baklavas) was delicious. The next night we went back as part of a trip and found the "meze" delicious but we were slightly dissapointed with the main course as it was cold. after dinner a crowd of us went to the bar and had a pleasant atmospheric few drinks. i particularly enjoyed the neat ouzo  thanks guys!

We visited La Calmas last week when we had a evening meal out arranged by the reps. When we first walked in to the Cocktail bar we were instantly made welcomed. Our night was full of enjoyment, fantastic cuisine and delicious wine and endless Gin and Tonics. We spent a further 3 nights at the bar our only regret was that we hadnt discovered the bar earlier as we had to leave sunday. All the staff there are very friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. Las Calmas is the place to be.

 We visited La Calmas in July 2005.  We had dinner there 6 out of 7 nights!  So that should tell you how much we enjoyed the cooking.  We enjoyed the atmosphere and spent the evenings having cocktails after dinner.  The most memorable night was karaoke night.  We want to thank the staff for their gracious hospitality and excellent cuisine!  Philip was a great host as well as we enjoyed the evenings with our bartender Nickolas.  Looking forward to another visit.  Thanks again!  Harry, Liz, Curt, Ron, Nancy, & Kim

La Calma - The place to be...Great food, Great atmosphere,Great prices.... Wherever you stay in Kefalonia, be sure to visit La Calma, Svoronata. We had a great time, every night....drinking, dancing,eating and meeting new friends. Thanos, Philip & Nikos will really look after you, like you are one of the family!! Had loads of fun.... to be home... but will be back! many thanks. x

Thanks for making our holiday very enjoyable.We spent most of our evenings at La Calmas being entertained and fed by Philip and his staff. The food there was excellent and all the staff pleasant and polite. A big thank you for the cakes on my wife and sons birthday. Hello to Thanos the tart hope you are there next year and have a safe trip back to Athens. Regards to you all, definately the best place on Kefalonia for eating, drinking and good company. Hope to see you all again.

We loved La Calmas and spent nearly every night of our two week holiday at the bar. The staff were fun, friendly and welcoming especially the lovely Philip. We did not want to leave, La Calmas was most definately the best part of our holiday.

La Calmas is still the best cocktail bar in Kefalonia and I should know I just spent 2 weeks touring the island. I've been in many bars and restaurants and La Calmas is number 1. It is a family business and they are great. Check it out...

My friend Vian and I arrived on Kefalonia with no idea where to go, immediately discovered La Calma and found we had little need to leave Svoronata, as this place has it all. The beef stifada melts in the mouth and the great value cocktails are really something else, with chunks of fruit, sparklers, the works. Karaoke nights are great fun, but La Calma's biggest draw is its staff, in the form of brothers Philipos and Nikos who are charming, personable and really went the extra mile to make sure we had an unforgettable holiday. The fact that we spent 5 of our 7 nights in Kefalonia at La Calma says it all! Will most definitely be paying a return visit.

Very nice place for a drink, they sell john smiths there! Owners are very nice and loved to kiss my baby's feet every time we went! Went one night for a meal and they were very short staffed so we had to wait ages for our meal that was average when it arrived! the entertainment was very good,gave us a good laugh. Only downside was lots of cats, ok if you like that sort of thing though.

The best place at Svoronata!!!!! We love it... and the owner family too!!!! They are very nice and friendly people!!!! We miss them and we hope to return next summer to see them again!!!
