Hi back home almost a week now and miss Kefalonia bad. Found the Elena Apartment easily, even if the sign post said Helena. It was everything and more that people said, they are lovely Family, Helena, Joseph and Daughters make you really welcome, which makes for a lovely relaxed, happy atmosphere, people have been going back year after year. The grounds are bueatiful and well kept. We were on the second floor, top, and had a veranda that was perfect. Pool good, clean. They go in every day to make the beds, take the rubbish, clean whatever. Certainly will go back there and plan to. Oh and Maria makes the best Greek Salad in Greece, Hubby being Greek he knows his Greek Salad.

We have booked the Elena Apartments for the end of May and cannot get the address from the Tour Company so far, could anyone help and give us the address. We are taking a car from the Airport, obviously there should be a Tour Rep at the Airport but we would like to have the address before we go.

Just returned from two week stay with husband and 4 children, it was wonderful, apartments very comfortable, pool lovely, couldn't keep the children out. Elena and Joseph very friendly, Elena could not have been more helpful, always on the go!!! Ideal for families, not very big but just lovely. Svoranta is quiet no shops only two super markets but plenty of tavernas for you to try. Would definitely go back. |

My Boyfriend and I are about the return to Elena apartments for the third time.
The first time we went I was ill with food poisoning (not contracted there!) and Elena and her family were really caring and helpfull and looked after me really well!
Second time was fantastic! On arrival we were greated like family and we couldn't have been happier with our stay.
Can't wait for this year! |

some visitors found it difficult because the accomodation was rather basic for them and they liked their rooms to smell of bleach everyday . we had a great time. one complaint the cicadas never shut up the pool was clean and el and joe couldn't do enough for us going back next year |

Just returned from Elena Apartments, Had a excellent time there thanks to Elena and her family. It was our wedding Anniversary whilst there and Elena baked a beautiful cake for us, she is a lovey lady, who works so hard.
we would recommend hiring a car as the walks to the nearest beaches are quite a way.
If you just want to laze by the pool and go out in the evening for a quiet meal this is for you.
Didn't experience any road noise as our apartment was by the pool. |

| Went to Elena Apartments in July 2004. Had a excellent time. Pool was brilliant, DEAD relaxing. Elena and Joseph are great they make you feel realy welcome. Best holiday we've had in ages. Booked again for next year. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!! |

We visited kefalonia when the filming of (that film) was on the go did not meet Mr Cage though, but had a fab hol which was made all the better by staying at the elena apartments. Elena is one of the most charming and hard working people you could ever meet as is her family joseph maria and young effi,it was my birthday on our stay, my wife Josie and Elena conspired together and arranged a party for which Elena drove into Agrostroli to pick up a cake she had made for me !!(as i said charming)
Josie and i do not normally return to same place as we like to see different places and faces, but this is top of our list.
If anyone is going out there say hello from Tony(birthday cake boy)and Josie cheers. |

| To be quite honest, the appartments themslelves were very nice, clean comfortable and quite spacious, however, we found ourselves frequently disturbed at night by the lorries rumbling down the main(-ish) road that the Elena is located next to. I would think if you were not facing the road, then it may be a lot quieter, but it was really the only major down point of our stay in Kefalonia.... by the way, the pool bar is very expensive, so it is worth ambling down the road for cheaper drinks. |

| My husband and two children ages 14 & 10 have just booked for Elena apartments in May 2005, we visited Kefalonia in 2001 and stayed in lakynthra. We visited all resorts during our stay on the island, so are familiar with the resort, but are interested in opinions on the apartments and staying in the resort generally. We realise it is quiet and a car is essential! |
