We stayed in the only 2 bedroom apartment; the location was good, away from the busy centre of Lassi and away from the main road, but still within easy walking from all facilities. The hill up to the apartments is short but fairly steep, you don't have to be fit but I would not recommend it for anyone with walking difficulties. The apartment itself was very basic, cooking facilities are well below anything suitable for a family of 4. But if you plan to eat out, like we did, this does not matter. Hot water was a bit hit and miss, showering before 6pm was usually cold.
We did experience a bit of noise from the owners, who live above; this was usually between 11pm and midnight. Also their children would play outside our apartment. On the whole this was not too much of an issue, but it is best to be aware of this extra Greek experience!
Don't go here if you are want to laze around the apartment, this is an ideal base from which to explore Lassi and the rest of the island. The closest beach is about a 6 minute walk to get to and about 10 to come back from (it is all up hill coming back).
My advice is to hire a car. There is an off road parking area attached to the apartments for about 4 cars (there are about 14 apartments in the block. The picture is the view from the far end of the apartment block; near the 2 bed apartment
We went to Nefeli's twice (July 05), all aspects were were top class. The service was friendly and fast, the food was well prepared and tasted great. Prices are on par with all the other quality tavernas. They also have a childrens menu, not all the tavernas we tried did.
