PANORAMA STUDIOS, operated through LIBRA hOLIDAYS.....situated at the top of the hill between Lassi and Argostoli....no pool, phantom cleaner, filthy balcony area, mouldy shower curtain, copious cobwebs and dust, engrained filth around sink/"cooker" area, broken shutters, etc, etc. My message to would-be visitors would be "DON'T DO IT"!! We love Kefalonia, and we expect basic Greek accommodation, but this was absolutely the pits!!

p.s. we are visiting Zakynthos this year, with Thomson Holidays, and would not trust Libra again.

I can only echo the praise given by previous commentators. The Dionisos is a wonderful taverna, and Costas and his staff make you very welcome. Fried courgettes, garlic cheese on toast and toasted bread with olive paste were just three of the starters placed in front of us each evening. These dishes, along with fruit or creme caramel offered at the end of our meal were never added to the bill!The moussaka was to die for, as was the stuffed chicken, but the chef, (Iannis), would not sheare his recipe with me! Best tavera in Poros - much better than the over-hyped Vanessa's, (where old favourites are served, ahead of other customers).

we stayed at Louiza appartments in September 2002, and would love to go back, but they no longer appear to be featured in any of the travel company brochures. Does anyone know if Louiza are still taking bookings via package companies? They used to be rented out to Airglobe/Golden Sun. Also, are any package operators flying from Newcastle to Kefalonia, who have properties in Poros? Excel Airways no longer fly from Newcastle, which appears to mean that Golden Sun have pulled out of Poros.....am I wring?
