Nine Muses Hotel - (Accommodation in Skala)

We returned from the Nine Muse on May 17th. Although I would have to say that Kefalonia isn't my favorite Greek Island, the Nine Muse is def my favorite place to stay. This hotel is wonderful. Lovely staff, lovely rooms, wonderful bathrooms with full shower cubicles!!!!!
We ate in the Aeolos restaurant nearly every night which was very good and good value too.
Ate in the Pines once or twice, very nice if not a bit over rated.
Pools and sea very cold at the moment, a heated pool would have been wonderful.
I would think this hotel is more suited to couples looking for a quiet holiday. Def not for families.

The Pines - (Restaurants in Skala)

We had an evening meal and a breakfast in the Pines. Our evening meal was very nice, deep fried camberet with blackcurrent jelly, very nice. Beef strogonoff was nothing like it should have been but a pleasent beef casserole all the same. House white wine very nice. A little bit pricey for the meal.

We had the full english breakfast which was very nice, very good value, coffee refilled as much as you like. English news papers available.
