Very poor dining experience here. Husband ordered a chicken dish, which, when he cut into it, was completely under-cooked - still very pink. Gave the benefit of the doubt and returned the dish, asking for it to be cooked fully, but second dish was equally under-cooked! Icing on the cake was the attempt to charge us for the dish when we requested the bill. Consequently did not return for a second dining experience. Visited August 2015.

This year was the first time we'd eaten at the Blue Sea - wish we'd done so before. A great place to sit, great food to eat and efficient friendly service. Octopus and Squid particularly good, and a mean Frappe! Go there.

Had a wonderful lunch there yesterday. Massive portions of the most delicious food, clearly freshly prepared and cooked. Friendly and helpful staff, and the location...... Well, right on the sea front, and as others have pointed out, a splendid grapevine trellis. We will be back again...

We stopped here for lunch and found it to be very nice.  We both had Greek salads which had a two reasonable sices of feta topped with oregano.  The salad beneath was fresh, crisp and tasty.  We didnt experience a main meal here but we couldnt fault our salads - the service was prompt and the waiters attentive.  A nice view across the sea too.  I'd recommend it for lunch or something light.

My boyfriend and I ate at the Blue Sea resturant once on our holiday. We ordered small cheese pies for a starter which were nice. My boyfriend loved the spicy chicken. I struggled to find something that i fancied to eat because i was vegetarian, i chose the stuffed tomatoes. My meal was very nice. There was a tv if you walked further into the resturant playing sports. One night when were walking back from a meal at other resturant we noticed that the Blue Sea was hosting a birthday party (or name day party), half the resturant was closed but they were still inviting customers into the back half of the resturant. I think if we had gone to eat there that nite we would have been disappointed that you wouldn't be able to see the sea.

click to enlargewe didnt find this restaurant the best to be honest.  the starters were very nice but the main meals (mousaka and meat pie) had just been made in a massive dish earlier and reheated so very dry.  on the other hand the staff were friendly and the views very nice.

Ate here 3 times during our 1 week stay in Kefalonia. Really relaxed atmosphere, friendly, laid back staff (some may think service was slow, but this is Greece!!) Food excellent, try the oven baked feta cheese and deep fried cheese balls (gorgeous) and the tuna salad was the best ever!! In fact no complaints at all, wouldn't hesitate returning to the Blue Sea, wish I was still there now!!!!

The food was a bit hit and miss this year but, the staff were excellent. Angela and her sons could not have put themselves out more to make us feel welcome. Angela even took our son off to play with her for a while so we could enjoy our meal in peace.

On the last night, they even gave us a bottle of Robola to take home to say thank you for our custom.

Not great at all. Serving staff were sullen and food very average, heard very poor reports from others staying at resort also.So many better places to visit.

Loved this place. It was only a couple of minutes walk along the beach for us and we ate there most nights. As we tend to eat late, it was never that busy and we got excellent attention. After eating there for 3 nights, the staff started giving us a free beer each with our meal

I don't eat meat but this wasn't a problem as there were many veggie dishes and the tuna salad was gorgeous. Most of the portions were huge and 2 courses was plenty.

Steak? What steak?! If you enjoy steak as it should be served (ie medium rare - rare) then avoid this place like the plague. When I ordered a steak here I wasn't asked how I would like it and it came well done (UK standards.) There was no steak knive so it was seriously hard work trying to saw through this dried up bit of beef. I would also avoid this place when it's busy - they really cannot come with it. They messed up one tables drinks order, another couple was waiting so long to be seated they gave up and went elsewhere (there were free and ready tables) and two groups (ours included) had to go up to the tills to pay rather than them bring us the bill.
