10/10Having visited Skala in May 2006, we found this restaurant towards the end of our two weeks. We only hope he had found it first. On our return in September, there was only one place to go. Yes, 13 our of 14 nights we used this wonderful restuarant.
The menu is expansive and Arris, will always ask chef to prepare something else if your can't quite find what you want.
We could recommend dishes, but then again, we enjoyed them all.
The food, drink and atomoshere just the best.
We also thouht it was very good vaule for money. However, on the odd night we managed to swell the bill somewhat, but that was due to the fact we did not want to leave and ended up over indulging with the need for a taxi to take us back to the hotel.
We saw many people returning to this restaurant night after night, surely the sign of a great place
We will be back in September 2007

Hi Annie, Aris, Rula and the rest of the team.
Sorry about the delay in writing this, but I'm sure you will forgive us.
Well what can we say -
Brilliant, excellent, wonderful, the best, good value for money,
Brilliant, excellent, wonderful, the best, good value for money, the only place you should eat in Skala.Yet again, we couldn't fault the Gallera.
We ate there 14 nights out of 14, on our trip in September 2007.
I took a particular liking to the chicken baveta, and Peter loves the kotsi. The four cheese gratin starter is heaven, I could go on and on.
To be honest we didn't have a bad meal, everything we ordered was gorgeous.
Unfortunately we won't be going to Kefalonia this year, but we will hopefully be back in 2009.Take care everyone, miss you all.
