My partner and I have just returned from a week staying at the Alfrato Village Apartments and it was absolutely wonderful. We were met by Jerry at the airport. On arrival, Jerry's wife had made us home made biscuits and left us a bottle of wine. It was a lovely welcome. Jerry couldnt wait to show us the views from our appartment balcony. It was absolutely stunning. All you can see is the sea and the Kefalonia coastline. The appartment was a good size and very clean and comfortable. We got more home-made cake when Jerry's wife came back mid-week to clean our room! The pool area was also beautifully done and the views here too were breath-taking, looking down to the sea and looking behind you to the mountains. We couldnt fault it. Its the perfect place for a truly relaxing holiday. The nearest supermarket is just a 15 minute walk as well as the local restaurants. We will definately be returning again. | |

We have been to lovely Kefalonia 3 times now and this is beyond doubt , the best accommodation that we have stayed in , Jerry is a lovely man and made us feel very welcome , the studios are spotless and the air conditioning is a real bonus , wonderful views and very , very peaceful . We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we next return !! Why bother with a tour operator when you can book directly with Jerry and his family , you won't find a better standard of studio accommodation than this ,we will most certainly BE BACK !
Thank you Jerry .

We have just returned from the Afrato Village and cannot praise it enough. Jerry and his family are lovely people, very friendly and helpful. The apartments are some of the largest we have stayed in, well-equipped and extremely clean. The pool and patio area are also very well looked after - the views are stunning!. This is definitely a holiday for those seeking peace and quiet. We have been holidaying in Lourdas/Vlachata for 11 years now and these are probably the best accomodation we have ever had
(I didn't really want to post a comment in case too many people book and Jerry doesn't have room for us next year - but Jerry deserves more recognition for creating such a delightful experience).

No British operator uses Afrato, but it is possible to book flights and travel independently. Gerry will always pick someone up at Airport. Accommodation continues to improve each year, and now has Satellite TV, as well as last years good Air conditioning.
May this year very hot (30 C ++)
Details and Booking form, as well as views, from www.Afratovillage.gr

These apartments are larger and better equipped than the norm in the resort. The kitchen includes a grill/oven as well as a hob, and a cordless kettle. The furnishings include a dressing table and table and chairs. The apartments have proper air conditioning (not just a fan on the ceiling). The pool is clean and has plenty of area around it with full toilet/shower facilities. The views are unobstructed over the bay to Zante, and down to the long beach below.

| Hi Guys, The Alfrato Village Apartments get a good write up which is good. Are there any tavernas and mini markets near the apartments within walking distance (10-15 Mins) please? Also what’s Lourdas like as a place, and what’s the beach really like? Any help appreciated Thanks | |

| The Alfrato village was excellent, Really quiet with an excellent view. Jerry and his family were always on hand if anything was required, (which it wasn't). However couldn't quite work out how to switch on the grill. | ||||||||||

| We stayed at the Alfrato Village from 3rd August 2003 for 2 weeks, we liked it a great deal. The Kitchen was so much better than any others we have stayed in. The pool area was clean and the pool was nice. The pool bar was excellent with a variety of snack and drink, my sister and I liked the milkshakes. Gerry and Christina are the owners and they are wonderful people who do a job. Our family do recommend the weekly BBQ, the food is lovely and good, although there is no dessert. A car is need is you want to go in Scala, Poros and the Capital. Please do be careful on the roads, they are quite dangerous!!! If you need any other info. please just write and i'll try to got back to you. | ||||||||||
