By far the best Restaurant in Skala. Food outstanding and atmosphere great! Fillet steak with blue cheese and whisky was one of the best meals I have ever had. It's nice to be just off the main street and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely make a point of going again.

We hired a Jimny from Stuart at CBR (Ithink thats what they are called, down at the bottom of the main street in Skala) and it was excellent. We did the mountain road (see Jo Smiths comments) and it coped really well. I loved the views and would not have seen them with a normal car.

The car was not all that new and did struggle a bit in 3rd gear on the ordinary roads, but overall I was very impressed. Fuel economy ok, and comfort levels ok for two not too fussy adults!

So get one when you go, and do the high roads...it's worth it!
