Eden - (Bars in Lassi)

Mike G

Eden was by far the best bar me and my grilfriend found during our recent stay in Lassi. A very chilled out garden atmosphere with subtle lighting, playing some old school tap your feet along tunes, made this the perfect way to relax after an evening meal.

George the waiter was very friendly and always greeted us by name and with a handshake when we walked in. His service was always excellent and prompt, even though he was the only one serving, and he even found time to chat and have a laugh. Although I always drank Lager, my girlfriend said the cocktails were nice and her favourite was definitely the "Tobleron."  The shots we were given were always refreshing and when asked what was in it George would reply "it's a mixture of things!!!"

This was one of the hardest places to say goodbye to when it came to leaving  and we hope to see George again next year. If you are reading this George hope the winter break helps you to recharge your batteries - YAMMAS!!!

Venia - (Accommodation in Lassi)

Mike G

We have just spent a week in the Venia Apartments after booking a late deal and we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accomodation.

The setting is lovely and has some nice grounds, complete with cats, and great views. We were in Room 3 (downstairs) and we had a large patio/seating area and views of the sea off to the right. If you set off for the beaches past the Hotel Meditaranee there is quite an incline which can be quite sapping if you leave it till it is hot, just make sure you have some water with you. On an evening we always went right out of the apartments which takes you on a flatter route and brings you out on the main street opposite the "Phaedra" restaurant. Beach Antonio is about a 10 minute walk away and Makris Yialos beach is about 15 minutes, but both never seem too far. Restaurants and bars are literally a 5 minute walk so you are never too far from anything.

The room was cleaned twice while we were there, with the maids even placing our shoes neatly, and we had fresh towels during the week. The only minor negative we had was that they did not replace the toilet roll but at 1 Euro for two rolls this was no big deal. The room had both Air Conditioning and Fans and the owner, who was a very pleasant lady, even advised us not to pay for Air Con until we had seen if the fans did a good enough job. As it turned out they did so we ended up saving a bit of money!!!

All in all a lovely place to stay and we would definitely recommend it and stay there again.
