Siroco Restaurant - (Restaurants in Skala)

Steven W

Me and my partner have just got back form Skala, We had been looking up the past a few weeks before we went and made a list of places we want to visit. To be honest we did not put Siroco down! On our 5 night we went here as we liked the look of the specials that were on offer that night. We had been to a few good places so far this holiday but northing matched this place!

Food was fantastic, well priced and above all not rushed! (Some of the places we had not only just finished our starts then our main would turn up)

Drinks were well price and the house wine very good.

Cocktails where very Moorish….

When we good back next we are sure to visit this place and the girls doing the serving (both are English) where tops as well

Elisa Apartments - (Accommodation in Skala)

Steven W

We have just got back for our stay in Skala and stayed at the Elisa apartments, I would not recommend it if you have any trouble with walking as it is up a short but steep hill. However when you get to the apartments the views are fantastic. Rooms clean and of ok size (I have stayed in smaller) no kettle so do take one as I do like my coffee in the morning. We stayed in room 4 which is downstairs facing the well kept gardens, we never had a problem we Elisa in fact if we was sitting outside and she was tending to her garden we would often get fresh tomatoes and preaches from her which was nice.

But I must say these rooms would be better if they had air con or shutters on the mains doors as it can really get hot in the evenings. Another plus point to these rooms is that you are only a 5min walk to the beach and free pools and if you are after the quiet holiday at least 10 mins from the main part of Skala.

Food was good but way to rushed for my liking we was in and out with in an hour and half, and it was not that early as most eat out at 9 so did we.

there is far better places in Skala

July - (Best Time to Visit)

Steven W

We stayed in Skala from the 18th to the 25th July 2006 and it was really hot but nice, take a dip in the pool around 1`ish or better still hire a car or bike (we got 2 motor bike) drive towards Poros (about a 30mins drive my bike) and there are few really nice breaches on the way, the best we found was about 10 mins from Poros back towards Skala. The main road passes it so you can’t miss it. All pebbles but of a size that don’t hurt shallow waters so you can lay down in the water during the hottest times. but if you wish to visit this breach and like a bit of shade take a parasol.
