John C

We (family of 3)are booked for end of July this year our first package holiday. We are interested in Jet Ski/Scuba diving/snorkelling etc. Can anyone give us an indication of costs, queues etc and best places for such activities.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, we are staying at the Eleftheria apartments in Lassi, does anyone know if there is a local shop etc nearby and if the poolbar is open in July/august 04.

Thanks

stayed here ebd July - first week august 2004. Lovely apartments, very basic, very hot and no air conditioning. you can hire a fan from Marnies market just down the hioll for a 20 euros, better than nothing. The pool was great, let down on three occassions by some kind og contaminent that turned it green, but whern it was clean it was brilliant. The end of the day is, that the apartments a re very clean, very peaceful; and with great views. You get what you pay for. The hill is a bugger, it really is, the shortcut is better but hard work underfoot with loose rocks to contend with, but then again a taxi is only 3-5euros!

Best meal we had in Lassi by far!
The setting is beautiful, peaceful and with a good sunset balcony, the food was well presented and delicious. Good restaurant, clean and tidy with helpful staff.

This restaurtant was like all the others in Lassi, not a negative thing,m just that the food and setting was very much the same as everywhere else. The olny real downside was the fact that this restaurant seemed to attract lots of local wild ferrel cats =with litters in tow? It is poffputting trying to eat with cats round ytour legs, halve starved and looking deperate.

This place made our holiday. We went four times and every time we had a brilliant evening. You must go on a Mod,Wed or Friday when the dancing is on, the music is great the danciung really good andf the whole place rocks and gets involved.
The Food is ok, not brilliant but ok. The staff are freindly and will stop and have a chat with you. All in all the best place for a laugh and night out in Lassi without doubt.

I liked this place, the food was very good, we had the Kleftico and my wife tried the Spaghetti, both were very good. The staff were attentive and the food not over priced, no entertainment , but for a nice meal around 9pm, this place was fine.

The apartments are in a great location, lovely and peaceful, clean and tidy, great relaxing pool...ahhh heaven. but there are pricfes to pay for this!
Firstly there is no air con. a real problem as the heat and humidity really works on you, you can hire fanc for around 20 euros from the local supermarket at the bottom of the hill, better than nothing i suppose. An talking of the 'hill' it is a bugger, very steep and rocky under foot, in the sun and humidity it really does affect you, ou can go the long way round on the tarmac rtoad (extra 10 mins walk) but the heat and slope still affect. Then again a Taxi is onlu 5euros so wheres the problem?
I enjoyed Eleftheria and wiould stay there again, hire car is essential though as that hill does stop you 'popping out' for an ice cream etc as there are no food/drink facillities at all on site.
