Efrosini Village

Quietly surprised by the presentation of Efrosini - nice apartments and all comments about Fon and his wife are true! Great music and even better wine. Various pools close by for all to use and main tavernas are a good 10 minute walk. Recommend hiring a boat for the day to view the spectacular coast line and find secluded beaches. All in all a great holiday.

The best thing about Efrosini is Fon and his wife who manage the pool bar.
Most of the guests in the apartments sharing the pool wanted the same thing -
some space, piece and quiet to enjoy their holiday, with the odd bit of chat pre
or post dinner. Only negative - we would have preferred the apartments to be
cleaned more than twice a week, but this shouldn't and doesn't detract from a
great base from which to explore the island

The poolside bar manager(Fon) and his family were excellent. Great music and conversation. Apartments are basic but clean. Ask Fon for a map to the hidden glorious beaches around the area.

Arrived home today (2/8/03) but sorry to leave. We had a wonderful holiday at the Efrosini Studios; the staff were so nice and very helpful, particullarly Phon and the bar crew. Excellent atmosphere in the bar with all manner of conversation amongst new holiday makers who became good friends. Kefalonia is a lovely place to visit and so welcoming to us travellers. We will return Phon !!!

Beautiful appartment, with a lovely pool and fantastic bar. We met some great characters whilst on holiday and had some fantastic nights in the bar, drinking lots, laughing lots and listening to the travelling tales of the pool bar owner Phon (making notes and maps of quiet secluded beaches). Perfect place to stay!
