We make the telephone booking and are met at the Airport with the Car, simple and hassel free. Price quoted is what you pay, no extra costs to surprise you on arrival. October 2010. Another visit to Kefalonia and another excellent service from the Team at Greekstones in Sovronata. This Company is so efficient, we have used them for many years and have always been more than satisfied with the service and the helpful and friendly staff. The rental costs are good and reflect just what you get which is a complete service with good quality cars and a safe and secure insurance package.

Yet again we have used Greekstones for our car rental in Kefalonia in June 2010. Our family has hired 3 cars from Greekstones this year in August and September. They give an excellent service and Melis and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The vehicles have all been excellent and the full support package including full insurance means safe and sure driving around Kefalonia. They have offices in Svronata but do deliver and pick up your vehicle from wherever you require on the island. They have met us at the Airport and they have also brought a car to us in Lourdas. They are such a helpfull Company and we would highly recommend them. |

| We stayed in Svoronata last year and Melis gave us a good deal on a really good car. Excellent company. Roubina is worth a mention too as she met us at the airport with the car and always had the coffee on if we called in to the office. For first class service and vehicles you must use Greekstones! |

We hired a small car from Greekstones and were VERY pleased with the service, the car, helpfulness of the staff. Their knowledge of the island is great. You get a free map and all the good places to visit are marked on the map. Greekstones aim to ensure your holiday experience is a good one. They certainly succeed in that. We hired our car for 5 days. Kefalonia is a beautiful place, but a car is definately needed to get out and about. I would strongly recommend Greekstones, above all of the other car rental places.

| Greekstones was a fantastic car hire company to use...in fact, as advisors on what to do and see on the island, they were so much better than our tour rep! The rates were good, and we were given a free tank of petrol because we hired the car for 2 weeks, and a discount on the price. The lady from Greekstones delivered the car to us at our accommodation, and came with a map of the island for us, and pointed out all the places to visit and was able to give us insider knowledge of the best spots, like the best place to watch the sunset etc. It was really nice getting recommendations from an actual resident of the island. We popped in to their office to see them with a couple of queries, unrelated to the car hire, and they were always very helpful. At the end of the 2 weeks they gave us a membership card which means we can get further discounts if we use them again in the future...which we definitely would! Highly recommended. |

| Top class all round. We got a discount just because we said we had seen his website! Hired a fiat Seicento and got half a day free. Staff were all great esp Melis. As you have forms and stuff to fill out, there is always drink on tap to help you through it. The lady from New York was really friendly and found it extremely funny when we left cameras, sun tan oil etc in our car when we handed it in. Next time we go to Kefalonia we will book beforehand and get a car for a week - obviously from Greekstones. |

| We hired a car from Greekstones for 3 days and thought they were excellent as well as the cheapest. We booked a Hyundai Atos online to make use of the discount which was delivered bang on time to our apartment. On one day out,we unfortunately had someone crash into us, and though the car and ourselves were ok we had to go to the Police station to make a statement. We contacted Greekstones and Melis was over in a flash to liase with the Police and give us all the support he could. He was absolutely brilliant. We were in Sami and Melis rushed over to us from Svoronata to be with us within an hour. The cars come with complete insurance, with excess covered which was an added comfort. When we popped into the office the following day we were offered free drinks and found all the staff so helpful and friendly with a wicked sense of humour! At the end of the three days they collected the car from us at the airport and again were spot on time. Excellent all round. |

just like to say a BIG YASSU to mallis,booked over the net everthing was ready and waiting when we got there no hassle at all.
recommend you go to see mallis,a little while before you hire your car,as he does like to ply you with metaxa in the afternoon!!!(not that he twisted my arm!!)

| For anyone trying to pre-book their car hire, we e-mailed three local companies in January to get a quote on a 4x4 for 14 days in July. The first response back was after just 7 days (not bad for out of season) from CBR Rent-a-car (Contact: Andreas Pefanis in Argostoli (other offices in Skala, Lassi & Lourdas) Tel: +30 (26710) 22770 Fax: +30 (26710) 24552 E-mail: cbr1@otener.gr). CBR quoted 850 for a Vitara (discounted from 950). Next in was a reply from Greekstones Rent a Car (Contact: Menalaos Antoniou in Svoronata (other office in Skala) Tel: +30671042201 Fax: +30671042202 E-mail: info@greekstones-rentacar.com). Greekstones quoted 690 for a Jimny, which we accepted. Sunbird came back a week later at 10 cheaper (Contact: Antonis Kastanas in Argostoli (other offices in Svoronata, Poros, Sami, Skala, Lassi & Lourdas) Tel: +30 2671023723 Fax: +30 2671025484 E-mail: info@sunbird.gr). All the prices seem considerably more expensive than when we paid 420 in for a 4x4 for 2 weeks in Santorini last year, whilst all the companies offered free delivery and collection to/from Lourdas. However, since booking with him, Melis from Greekstones has telephoned us at home to thank us for our order and respond to our request to confirm that the vehicle is a soft top (excellent written and spoken English), and we have just received an unsolicited e-mail from him promising a free tank of petrol on arrival, so he wins on service. |

| Fantastic service! We stayed in Lourdas and they delivered the car the day after we arrived and extending the rental period was no problem. The guy just got on his mobile and rang his office to confirm. He also spent a good 15 minutes telling us where to visit on the island by pointing them out on the provided road map. The car was very new and in excellent condition. By pre-booking on the internet we got a 10% discount. Greekstones come highly recommended!! |

| Absolutely brilliant company : internet booking, good cars, cheap rates and really excellent friendly service on the ground. I don't think I've ever had better car hire in any country; we were badly delayed on the way out, they just kept coming back with the car until we arrived, and handled our complicated requirements without a hitch. |
